Why does Jinx get 3 more emotes? She already have 2. Why not make something for other champs?

So Jinx already have 2 emotes From Jinx, With Love Catch Me If You Can!

and now there are 3 more being added of her Aww Yiss Wahaha So Lame

Plus Wiki list another one that I haven't seen before. It doesn't seem to be in game, but rather made but not released Teary Eyes

So why will Jinx have 6 emotes total? So far champions had only 1 emote (or in very rare cases 2) if any. Most champions don't have n emote that shows them at all.

There were really amazing ideas in memotion contest for less popular champs. Plus there was a guy that made 45 really creative emotes that a lot of people would love to see. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/KJI2f1eh-made-45-emotes-in-celebration-of-the-launch-of-patch-720 So I doubt Riot lacks ideas.

Do they make emotes based on champion popularity? If so thay have to stop. These are not skins, if certain emote is good enough people will buy and use it. Do you know what emotes I see a lot? Rammus, Amumu, Naut. They are not polular champions but people just like them. These 3 new Jinx ones lacks something, they are very generic in my opinion.

I'm ok with expressions showed on these 3 new emotes, but couldn't there be other champions that represent them?

Yeah. Pretty much.

Every champion should recieve at least one emote, one icon, and one Chroma set.

It is one of the contributing factors of fighting games to have color schematics available for personalization.

From King of Fighters, to Super Smash Brothers series....

Let's also not forget that Harley was introduced into the Batman The Animated Cartoon Series as a temporary side character who was specifically so that the joker could be Harely's Love interest, where as Joker doesn't care for that sort of thing (hint hint, Jinx doesn't care for that sort of thing)

She has "Joker" written all over her. Joker is the best Villain. She may have some of Harley's physical characteristics, ... female body...

but she has all of the Joker's personality and flare, right down to her 4th wall breaks.

Well, that too, but she has that "cute and crazy vibe" which makes her likeable and removes all of the Joker's creepiness. Same with Harley who does like 99% of bad stuff Joker does, but "omg, she is cute and funny".

And Harley Quinn is a pun of harlequin, which are typically described as jokers and jesters (albeit, mute, but still)

Gadgets can definitely be likened to Harley Quin, stocking, outrageous hair and pale skin. Also, she's a woman, something her and the Joker don't have in common.

She's not 'actually' anything, other than likely just inspired by Harley (or perhaps, you know, probably BOTH of them?)

I hate chaos for the sake of chaos (Chaotic Neutral?). It is just one of the most unlikeable character traits because they just have nothing else behind them or any reason for it.

Doesn't help that I absolutely hate playing against the queen of popping off.

Now I don't mean to be mean to all the other champions released, but I don't think you guys realize the big picture here as not everyone was around when she was released.

I remember Jinx was one of the most hyped champion releases and even got a music video to help hype her release. In fact she was probably the champion that hyped me the most in this game and I have been playing since just after Lucian was released. She represents the era that a lot of players started to get invested into the game. It's simply marketing. They are feeding off the connection she built when she was released. Those of us who were there for it hold a special place for Jinx in our hearts no matter how unbalanced she can be because she represents the good times in league and quite often she also fits the player base in emotion range.

Let's put it this way: I am more hyped nowadays for champion reworks to old binary champions than to see new ones. I feel more of an "Ooooh that's a cool rework" and more of a "Yet another champion that's super overloaded or a pain in the ass to balance and isn't very likable". The only champion as of lately that I can say I drew any kind of enjoyment for seeing being made was Kled because man he has some great personality and his connection with Skarl in his voice lines.

Maybe it's just me liking crazy champions because quite honestly they feel the most entertaining to me.

My list of champs I hated to see be made: Camille Pyke Kalista Kaisa Galio (I know he was reworked but the rework theme is just so bad compared to the original)

As wayward son said, its likely more for who the emotion fits with. Popularity definitely would be a part of it, but i can't see them give like a random smiling emote to every champ when it jives with a lot of their personality.

Jinx has a chaotic personality that gives well to many emotions.

While I welcome anything Jinx, I do hope to see a few more pun emotes for less popular champs. Like the Naut bad one.

I think the scarriest thing is Naut would have probably one of the most toxic ones possible for your own team. Most of the emotes are geared at emotions of yourself and the enemy team. Naut could possibly have an emote thats literally just an anchor symbolizing your team being heavy.

If you look at it from a character perspective she has plenty of emotions to display compared to champs like Bard Jax Kindred Viktor Xerath Azir aside from the occasional crescent eyes = happy face motif.

But really, Jinx probably is the most expressive champion riot has, that gives her a much broader scope of possible emotes.
