Zyra Velkoz Veigar Annie Lux were all already played in support (some more mid than others but still) before autofill.

Syndra Malzahar were probably only picked since people saw it in pro games

Yes because not every match needs a traditional support lol Whenever I get autofilled I just pick Heimerdinger because its so easy to get rich by using item 3303 and poking the enemy team lol Then proceed to rush deathcap asap.

nah, the champions themselves caused the shift, mostly analysts and pro players caused the shift. ziggs has been the same since he was re-released in mage update yet barely is starting to see pro scene and then dissappeared again because Utility adcs are superior, for instance malz has always been a press R braindead champion, but hasnt always had access to that much lane pressure with his voidlings, now that he did and now doesnt again, he will most liekly dissappear from the meta again, just like lethality causes a shift in certain adc builds.

Nah, I doubt it. Those "non standard" supports are played in professional games too.

player saw a pro game...Lucian mid worked...play's Lucian mid in a bronze game against zed...Lucian dies 3 times and wonders who fed zed who has 3 kills and the rest of our team has 0 deaths gotta love auto fill

I doubt that, she has had the high play rate for a long long time. Also the people who get autofilled from a carry position are arguably more likely to pick a mage support with damage (or just their normal mid laner) than a damage-less buff/heal support

Ive played Sion ADC twice now thanks to autofill

and i i won both times :D

who wouldve thought

easy peasy kills lol just need a sup with good synergy and a good early jungler and ill have their both lane questioning their sanity in minutes

Zilean works exceptionally well

you can launch his bombs or slow them and setup for a double bomb thanks to his slow they can't escape your Q Thanks to your Q they can't escape zileans stun

Also, zilean can speed up Sion's passive hahaha

but before that happens they still have to kill you twice, which is unlikely since you are Sion lol
