@Riot, Why is Fiora allowed to parry Ashe's basic attacks and stun her?

Just played a ranked game and encountered this the hard way. Riposte is a ridiculously powerful ability as it is, but the fact that a basic attack can stun me is daft and should be changed. I know that Ashe's passive applies a slow and therefore is a form of CC, but I noticed near the end of the game that I was being stunned just for right-clicking the fed Fiora.

Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Fiora's W does not stun against slows. there is absolutely no way you got stunned of your aa's you must have ulted. it works against stuns, entagles, charm, knock ups, roots. snares, fear and everything that prevents mobility skills, but not slows.

I know how the mechanic works. I'm just a bit salty over the fact that the basic attacks give the opportunity to stun which seems a bit unfair.

I'm more salty about the fact her Q near resets if she hits anything, that W (if it doesn't stun) and E each slow up to 60% and R heals for higher base values and scaling than Janna's ult. There is a nerf in PBE to the duration of the AoE heal that will require her to hit all vitals to get maximum duration, but I don't think it will solve anything.

I think her reworked kit would be fair if they had kept her old ult intact which was technically weaker than Yi's Q at max rank.

The whole reason for the re-work is that her old ult was deemed too toxic and had to be changed, if that wasn't there she wouldn't have ever been touched really.

They don't. If you got stunned, either you ulted, or one of your teammates threw out some form of hard CC/root.

Or it could be bugged, but unlikely.

Doesn't mean its balanced.

Slows aren't immobilizing. Roots, stuns, knock ups, and suppressions are immobilizing. You can still move when you are slowed so you are not immobilized.

I'm not saying slows are strong just that they aren't hard cc and don't make fioras parry a stun.

Because Ashe's passive applies a slow per auto attack. If Fiora parries at least one immobilizing effect, Riposte stuns the target for the same duration instead; there's a reason she's permaban along with Darius.

By definition, a slow does not immobilize you, therefore it should not make Riposte stun.
