Negative side of falling from division

Hello Riots! Here is my story: I became Plat 4, then I fell to Plat 5 and came back to Plat 4 four times. Fifth time I fell, I wasn't able to get back and after losing streak fell from Plat to Gold 1. I was so frustrated and finally fell to Gold 2. From there I started to grow up and became Plat 5 again. 5-10 games later I fell from Plat to Gold again. Now I'm Plat again, and rly scared to keep playing, because I can fall again. I know main target was to prevent boosting, but you must understand - this thing with fallin will force players to avoid playing rankeds because it's so easy to fall even from Tier.

When the League system was first starting, I ended up in Gold, then because I didn't play for a few months, my ranking degraded to Gold V, 0 LP. I lost my first few games back and was Silver. I got so frustrated that I didn't play ranked for the rest of the season and degraded even further. Falling divisions is very anti-fun.

To fall down a division, your MMR has to drop a full division. So for example, if you're in Platinum 5, your MMR would have to drop below Gold 5 in order for you to drop into Gold I. It should take a very long losing streak for you to manage that.

The only other way to fall down a division is to not play at least one game every 28 days.

It's a game. Stop worrying about your division and play for fun. If you try to learn and improve while you have fun, you will rise faster than if you focus on elo/tier only.
