Riven needs more smooth power curve.

Right now Riven is all about early game. If she can get kill on first levels - she will dominate whole game. This is most snowballing champion right now. If she loses early she'll done for next 20-30 mins. But any succesful gank or lot of free farm - and she's again dominating. Right now she's most scary toplaner for me. She has everything - stun, knockup, shield, mobility, insane damage and steroids. Her burst is similar to assassins and same time she can be insanely tanky with pure AD build - just like fighters. And if after Diana (same mid assassin-fighter position) dive you have enough time to react or answer - especially if you're tanky enough, with Riven you just won't have it- she'll chainlock you and you're done. Her damage and cc enough to make any early gank succesful - target even won't be able to flash. I think her power through game must be more smooth - right now she's riding rollecoaster, one kill and she's on the top.

Good teams can beat her with their coordination, but in solo she's destroying everything. My brother's playing in D1 and he tried many champions to beat her, but most champions that have to counter her isn't good as they should be (hey Renekton), because she has lower cd than most of them. Yeah I can play Garen every time, but in late game I won't be able to Flash on enemy adc head and oneshot him in a second, as Riven can do it.

She has counters -- I'd think Quinn would be a great one (blind plus E), also Ryze (his snare stops her from retaliating and lets him land free spells) and Cho'Gath (he can sustain really well with his passive, and his silence and spikes help him win trades).

Basically, you want people who can punish her when she tries to engage.

They should just gut her. People who play her are cancer, and she is cancer herself.
