Explanation why new Veigar's Q is worse

Riots gave it range and ability to hit 2 targets, and skillshot mechanics for more fun. So main idea of this rework was make his farm overall easier, but... While older Q had lower range, Veiger could hit any minion. Now its skillshot and you can't simply hit minion with low hp in middle of pack. Else hitting 2 minions is defently will push your lane, and will make your farm harder - because find 2 low hp minions on one line is very hard, so you will kill one and leave another with low hp and your minios will finish him. Else all this dancing around minions will make Veigar more vulnerable, while as I'm understanding increasing range was made for opposite purpose - make farm safer. If we'll plus delay on his E we'll get much higher skillcap Veigar than before. I guess in pro hands new Veigar will be powerful - lower cds and more targets on his Q, but for usual players his difficult is soared to the skies.

I have seen so many videos of PBE players get more AP farm and better poking with this new Q.

....most did have problem with the E delay though not going to lie about that. The delay should be .5, not .75

oh seriously ? any pro veigar players already said veigar Q was a nerf like 1 weak ago already. we don't care of you. It's like saying, omg we can't go faster than speed of light. ya ya fun but we knew it for age bro.

He needs even more of a q increase range to justify his changes. He cant poke, the range is too short to hit anyone since it's now a skillshot and so is too unreliable to warrant getting into range of someone else's dash/skillshot to trade. He is SQUISHY and will explode if he tries this. Even if he does land his q.

First of all, you won't be able to Q every single minion early game anyways. Saving that Q for minion in the front line and in a straight line is ideal. Because of this, you can imagine that Veigar will stack up faster early game because he can Q two minion at once for the cost of 1 CD. Mid-late game it's probably no difference when he can Q every single one.

Secondly, his E was just a stupid cheese. Riot already said that they want to remove these cheese where a mage can just one shot somebody without them having a chance to escape. Giving opponents a chance to actually get out sound reasonable to me.

Lastly, the new Veigar is not a nerf. It's a rebalance. His CD and mana cost are reduced in some ranks but his style got changed.
