I really need some help here, what am I doing wrong?

I main Kat, and I'm having a hell of a time carrying games. I don't know what to do, or even where to start. I practice my cs and mechanics, I watch videos on macro play and transferring my lead to other lanes, the games where I don't get ahead I at LEAST go even with the enemy laner until the game snowballs out of control.

HELP, what the hell am I doing wrong? My LP has gone from +29/-8 to +20/-16 and I have a feeling its only going to get worse from here. I have been silver the past 3 seasons and I'm ok with that, I'd like to get gold but it's whatever. I will NOT, however, finish this season in bronze. Period. Fuck that shit.

According to analytics I reach my item powerspikes a full 1:30 ahead of the enemy laner, level 6 an average of 0:22 ahead of enemy laner, and 50 cs 0:53 ahead of them, but it doesn't seem to matter.

Don't worry about csing... Just gank bot and it's GG.

I do, constantly, but the moment I leave they give up a double kill, and if I stay the enemy takes mid tower. What do?

Are you using your lead to secure a win or to secure a greater lead? Those two things tend to achieve very different results. I don't know what you're doing wrong since I've never seen you play, but maybe if you approach a few games with that question in mind you might find some things in how you play that might make a difference. Also, perhaps watch some replays of your games and watch yourself. I've found flaws in how I play by doing that before. That's how I learned not to chase so much.

Also, don't be afraid to ask allies what they think might need to happen to make a win take place if you are unsure how to progress.

I watch every loss end to end from my perspective and my lane opponent's perspective. The only conclusion I've been able to come up with is that I would win more games if I had 4 bots on my team that responded to pings.

I ping a LOT, eyes always on the map, watching wave movement, pinging danger when I know someone is about to get ganked, but they just ignore me. My vision score is 13 points higher than Bjergsen's average...

I just don't know. I watch all these "how to carry bronze" videos, and I try to follow every step they take, push lanes, take tower, transfer lead to other lanes, but it makes no difference. The games I win, the rest of my team also does well, and the games I lose, they do poorly. Either way, my contribution to whether the game is a victory or loss seems irrelevant. It's like I'm just rolling a die and hoping to get a 7. If I get enough 7's in a row, I climb, if not, I drop. My play is fairly consistent, some games of course the enemy gets so fed that I can't help but die because they just walk past 3 towers and one shot me.

I'll be honest with you, you should try an easier champ that brings utility to the team. Not because you're bad and can't play Katarina because obviously you can, but playing something that helps your team more will help you always be relevant in every fight. I know the easy pentas on Kat make you feel like a God and you totally can solo carry every game, but if you dont do your combo perfectly you're probably dead. Even if you're not dead your team might be because you have no tools to save them.

Fair enough... sigh, I just wish I could play what I enjoy and still climb.

Step away from kat for a little bit I had to do it last season with my main. Sometimes you just get to stuck in your ways or to comfortable with a champion. I tend to play better when i'm on edge or nervous. A good place to start would be to start playing the counters of champions that counter your main, or even just your mains counters so that you're building your champion pool while you're away from your main instead of just dicking about. Also be careful with the "how to carry bronze" videos the people making them have no business being in bronze in the first place and most of the videos can be summed up with get better mechanically and have some game knowledge. There is no specific formula that will let you win there a strategies that can increase your chance of winning but you need to know when to apply them and if you even can based off of team comps and power spikes and the like. You should also just get used to losing games that you did nothing wrong or were even doing extremely well, its just gonna happen. You are also going to go through times when you drop a division or two and time where you may climb three at a time its just the nature of the climb. The last thing you should give some thought is that eventually no matter how well you feel you are playing or how high a rank you believe you deserve you are going to reach a point where you are where you belong to be based off of your play.
