Aurelion Sol (Lion) Seems boring

It may just be me, and if it is, then that's totally fine, but he seems to lack something.

So my first jungle game with him yesterday: 28 minutes 6/7/18 lvl 13 87 cs Kill contribution: 59% Highest amount of multi-kills: Double-kill MR at lvl 18 27+ AP 15+ Health at lvl 18 216+ Armor 8.2+ Mastery: 2-2-6 (Strength of the ages.) Build: item 1410 item 3158 item 3027 item 2053 item 1057 (For Zz Rot) His early-game felt useless. The only good thing to come out of anything was his stun from q. I can't exactly set up anything nice with him unless I were in a Curse, or Skype call with a group of others to communicate better since ganks with him felt like they could have been set-up better. Even though we won that match, I felt like I did nothing for my team, but get close enough to activate his passive's range, and damage increase which can personally get a bit annoying in the jungle.

Ganking Ahri is a bad Idea

Going Aurelion Sol top is a bad Idea

Letting Zed reach lvl 3 without showing super heavy aggression is a bad Idea

Aurelion Sol Support will "passively" steal farm. (Bad Idea)

His team-fights? Honestly, all I feel like I'm doing is being present to "boop!" the enemies, and when I do stun with q, I feel excited to have been able to do something to help out aside from the passive. I feel like I have no control playing him, and this was with my tanky build I didn't get to finish. I tried his damage build, and actually did worse, but it literally felt the same as my tanky first time Jungle with him. He feels like a straight support for the jungle, and if that's how he's supposed to feel, then I guess it makes sense why I'm not FEELING like I contribute much when I use him.

EDIT: If anyone has any pointers, or can help me figure out how to do better with him/make him feel like he has more of an impact, plese let me know in the comments, I'd appreciate any help!

Sol support can harass, but you have to try to avoid the cs, which can be a pain, but he has a lot of damage.

His mid is,unfortunatly, bad against assassins. Any Talons, Yasuos, or Zeds worth their salt will beat on him almost the whole game.

A good thing is that, even if you do poorly in laning phase, once you get Rylais you do a lot more. Useful even while behind.

You NEED Rylais on Sol

Thanks, I'll try to incorporate that into my build asap (After Jungle item of course)
