Will Exhaust Weeken an Ability that has Already Been Casted?

For example, if Teemo shoots his blind dart and I exhaust him while its in the air, will it do the reduced damage or will it do full damage since I didn't use it when he casted it?

As a support main, I firmly believe it does. One of the reasons Exhaust is sleeper OP.

Exhaust is not sleeper op, its blatantly op, a lot of solo laners take it nowdays, you can even cast it while CCed + its short cd makes it broken.

A yasuo with exhaust cannot actually lose lane to anything for example (unless the yasuo player is garbage).

Yes, abilities only calculate the damage when they hit, not when they are cast.

Just like janna shield will boost an aa damage thats already (if it was casted before it hits and did the damage) in the air, exhaust will reduce any damage coming from your target as soon as you cast it (except true damage).

Good question. Sometimes I wonder if exhausting a Zed that already ulted reduces his damage or so...

Since his ult does more damage based on how much damage he does while the champion is marked then exhausting him right after he ults is actually really good because then his shurikens will barley do any damage and his death mark or whatever wont activate for nearly as much damage as he expects. He'll either get cc'd and die without getting the kill or he'll get out quick and loose the kill anyway, its pretty fun making zed's fail.

exahust is op. its an easy win to pretty much any 1v1. its better than ignite because its still relevant mid and late game.

also can be used both offensively and defensively. not going your way. exht them and run away. you want to all in. force flash. use ext. it will be back before their flash.
