is brand being such a problem in my matches a bronze thing?

I just cant deal with brand. and nobody in my elo seems to be able to do that. even if you kill him. all he has to do is ult to do his job. hes similar to lux. massive range. and way more damage. I just don't know. how to deal with him any tips? thanks. i cant think of anything to mitigate brand other than simply killing him way before a team fight even starts which i dont know how to do when hes all the way hiding behind tanks and adcs. I dont understand why such a strong ult a targeted ult. basically imagine if veigars ult bounced to champions near it.

hes such a disgusting champion. literally. to play against with his passive and his god awful aoe abilities.

You need to learn to dodge his spells. When he ults, the best thing you can do is stay away from the rest of your team to avoid the ult from bouncing around.

thats not really a valid argument to counterplay.

It depends on the speed and frequency of the spells as well as the champs ability to get into range to use them. In Brands case he's slow, his spells are slow, his ranges aren't really that long and is spells aren't super spamable. It's completely feasible to dodge the majority of Brands spells.

its also not a really valid argument to not running toward your team's teemo whenever brand's ult is being cast on you

Unlike Lux, his abilities are actually dodgeable, and you need to split up when he ults to deny much of his damage. If he lands pefect combo he is a monster, but if your team avoids pillar of flame and splits on pyroclasm, and tank blocks sear with body, he won't do much damage. That's a lot to do, yes, but it can deny him his power almost completely.

Lux's abilities are also dodgeable (albeit far harder to dodge)

Running some early mr against him should help you in lane. You also shouldn't forget to get a lot of potions and call for ganks. He is really vulnerable and easy to abuse during laning phase. Zed destroys him for example (if played properly). Diana is also strong against him since she can rush an abyssal scepter. Fizz can do the same while dodging his major burst with his e. Rip him apart during lane and he won't be that much of a problem (same like annie actually).

Jump him. There is not much he can do if you just dog pile him. His range is medium and he only has one ss stun.

Brand has the capability to wreck low ELO because dealing with him requires good team coordination. You must spread out when one of your team is ulted before the damage becomes too severe. Dealing with Brand is similar to dealing with any skillshot reliant champion, build boots very early and pick mobile champions. There is a pattern every Brand player will use before using their combo, and you can learn to read that pattern in the course of the laning phase and anticipate their incoming skillshots to juke them. Counterpicks include, but are not limited to Galio Fizz Talon Ekko Yasuo Zed If Brand is in the bot lane, then try some of these picks Ezreal Kalista Sivir_Leona Blitzcrank Braum

Some of these are bad 'counterpicks'.
