These new seasons since runes were updated have only made early game champions playable all game. Like too good all game. Champions should be falling off. Late game champions get nerfed a lot for being too good early, but I don't see enough early game champions being nerfed for remaining good all game.

Vayne is extremely easy to burst out. Or just pick jinx/sivir into.
Vlad has always been hard to shut down due to his safety, this isn’t new. But he sacrifices a lot of burst and consistent damage for that safety. Also, if his pool is down, he is litteraly a free kill. Also grevious wounds is available to everyone.

Renekton does fall off though. If you're not farming and he is, of course he's going to have an item advantage.

Except he doesn’t.
The case used to be, if you went even with him on say, gangplank, you would outscale him fairly quickly, but if you fell behind, he was going to be in your ass all game.
Now it’s , oh great. They picked renekton. Guess I’m useless for the rest of the game.
