Ride-Able Champ

Imagine a champion that other champions could ride. They could be a Support with room for one, and their ult could carry a whole team for a short time. Click on them to mount or dismount.

isnt that ahri?

...ill let myself out...

joke aside, it would be hilarious if there was a champion you could just mount and let you carry across the rift.

Season 2 patch notes on April 1st had an item called a "Cho'gath saddle" that yordles could use to ride a max-stack Cho.

You mean kind of like Kled ulti? That speeds teams up where he runs?

Ifneth1 votes

Yeah, only you're Kled and he's Skaarl.

Ah yes, thats the fetish ive been wanting. Pretending to an immortal lizard ridden by a hairy munchkin

That would be cool. You could click on him to hop on his back and ride around. It could give him a speed boost!

That makes no sense...shouldn't you slow down if someone gets on top of you? [sg-lux-2]

Wouldn't you get angry if someone tries to ride on you?

Ifneth1 votes

It would give the person giving the ride a reason to do it.

I'm thinking a support tank champ that is a living castle, sort of like Alexander from Final Fantasy.

You could get aboard and fire weaponry only available when boarded.

Remembered an old thread that had a concept for this exact thing. The ult and Q ability on this concept would be really nice for ridable champ, thats for sure.

So tham kench? Just from the other players perspective?

Ifneth1 votes

But you can eat your whole team with your ult. ;)

my guess is, you could stay mounted longer than a few seconds like tahm does it, but youre both targetable for the entire duration.

How would it work with CC/AOE? You the "mount take the cc allowing the rider to continue attacking? If so then they would still need to be separate entities meaning brand ult you DESTROY them lol.

Ifneth1 votes

It could work like Tahm Kench’s Devour.

So the person riding you can't take any actions? Yeah that could work if the high movement speed was out of combat

Ifneth1 votes

I meant that the champion inside wouldn’t be Brand ult’d. You would still be able to use all your abilities and basic attack.

So CC would hit both of them? You'd have to have it one way or another....

Ryze, Kench, Thresh(you ride his lantern, giggity)

attaching them like a mount would nullify any mobility spells(how would cait E?) coming from the adc. i imagine it would have to be quite the buff received by mounting considering you give up all your spells(most likely). Cait ulting from a mount just looks sloppy when i imagine it.

maybe something like xayah and rakan tho where they are assigned and receive different spells when combined
