I wouldn't even call it "sexy", I just call it "dumb". It's a leotard instead of armor on a character most well known for being armored.
The problem isn't that it's "too sexy", it just looks stupid.
It just dosen't fit the theme. We went from armor to a body suit? I dont mind remakes... just keep true to the character.

It's not even the sex appeal that's the problem; in the same way the backlash against Varus' lore retcon wasn't (exclusively) homophobic. People are just getting sick of them changing shit for the sake of change when it undermines established parts of a champions's appearance or identity.
Meh. It's not that it's too sexy. it's that you took a heavy armored character and made her wear a skintight bodysuit with....well, a smidgen or two of "armor". Mostly on the legs and arms.
Wait, why the heck are we villafying the boards???? This is nothing new to the boards, they complained about Kai'sa, they complained about Sylas?? Give Story, Art and Sound some credit sheesh.
It's not too sexy, it's just Kayle been armored is iconic to her, the "too sexy" point has already been disproven by the fact no one cares about how sexy Morgana is.

People site the whole "Oh she always wore armor" thing, but it's blatantly disingenuous. What you all really mean is "I am offended that the PATRIARCHY sexualized woman AGAIN! FIX IT NOWW!!!!!!11!!!!" You've given women a terrible reputation as screeching harpies and you call it "empowerment". Disgusting.
And people think all we want is MORE BOOBS. What we want is consistent themes and designs. This body suit space angel doesn't make any sense at all. it's like when Riot removed all the duality references from Karma (heal/dmg Q, shield/dmg E, buff/debuff W and her two-tone color scheme etc) and gave us a generic and bland champ.
The Boards, like the rest of gaming-sphere, is populated mostly by reactionaries. Why are you surprised that they find female character design "too sexy" (or whatever excuse they use as a platform to get to their usual drivel)?
