so i heared that they will add it with the hextech system but didn't see any news about it in the pbe yet are there going to be lvl 6 and 7 mastery for champions ?

I believe it was mentioned that these would be levels that you can unlock with champion shards in the Hextech Crafting. It's the ideal thing to do with champion shards when you have all the champions (or all the ones you want).

I'm only aware of getting a different mastery emote. I picked this up off the PBE side of the board.

What a weird and random way to level up your tier. They really are just looking for ways to cram this shit in aren't they? And its just for raising your tier cap, you don't actually raise the tier itself, so you still have to play more to get whatever rewards will be linked to it.

Man this champion mastery bullshit is getting worse and worse.

I already have several champions past 33K, which was rumored to be the cap of Level 6. If I understood this correctly, a champion shard would unlock Level 6 and I would immediately be at that level (my experience already earned is not lost). They didn't say what sort of rewards are tied to getting Level 6 or Level 7. The only thing I've seen for certain is the mastery emote changes based on your Level.
