Tbh, pushing your lane when the enemy has 20% hp or less makes it a very easy tower dive for you and your jungler to execute. As the enemy would expect less of a dive and if he/she were to be in lane, they would play much more defensive AND in that case, the moment they are in tower range they are safe. But if your lane is pushed, Tower has aggroed minions, which gives you half a second to 1 second extra time to pull off the gank that would have otherwise fail. Very relevant when your jungler is Elise LeeSin Aatrox Nidalee Fizz and it works for others as well.

In solo queue? No team is that coordinated.

He isn't entirely wrong tho, the tower makes them feel safe, which makes for a particularly easy dive, assuming they aren't DrMundo

Or Illaoi and Darius if you're team ignores everything and charges head on into them

Even Mundo can be tower dived if we can burst him fast enough (though, that's risky and normally requires 3 players over 2).

And yes, you are right "the tower makes them feel safe", that's a reason why this works. And its a shitty feeling when you are a mid laner, under your tower, at full hp. And then your screen turns black because Nocturne ulted, and then you are eating a Fish ultimate. That's generally a dead mid laner, from full hp. Others can also do something similar but they need the target to be hurt (~50%hp or less)

I don't know about your sever, but on EuW. I usually coordinate very well with my junglers assuming they main jungle (or they main the role i'm playing now).

Silver Fluffenbu1 votes

sure they are. the tank just has to ping "on my way" and then dive

you forgot that there exists an enemy jungler aka there's a really high chance that you'll get counter ganked (since your lane is pushing" and trust me you don't want to dive while counterganked

At worst its a 1 for 1, in case of a counter jungle. Since you are basically killing the opponent in 1-2 abilities of yours and 1-2 of your top/mid laner. Leaving the enemy team a window of less than 3 seconds to act upon it. So, if the counter gank is perfect, its gona be a 1 for 1. And if its not, then its a free kill.

Again, its more easy to tower dive someone on low HP than to gank them in lane, especially if the wave is pushing towards them (even slowly). The only other way this happens is if the way is pushing towards your laner, which is a good oportunity for freeze. HOWEVER, especially in early game, trades involve minion damage a lot. So, if your laner (top or mid) is winning their trades, there's a HUGE posibility that the wave will be pushing against the enemy and they will even have to oportunity to freeze it near their tower.

At which point depending on the enemy's hp (if low enough to kill in 4 abilities). Pushing the wave and tower diving together with your jungler is the best course of action. Ofc, you must pay attention to the enemy jungler. BUT, if you provide no assistance to your laner (this includes using your trinket ward near their lane, etc) than is constantly pushing, they will usually get frustrated, go for risky plays and die.

In addition to this, especially in early game. The enemy jungler has to farm their jungle and has 2 other lanes to gank. If another lane of yours is pushing -> maybe they want to gank that, over the mid lane where their team mate has 20-30% hp. Tbh, when I jungle (even though I'm bad at the role). I generally refuse to gank lanes where my team mate barely has any hp left and the enemy has a lot. Because its a high chance of one of us dying regardless if the gank results in the enemy dying or not. Which, in most cases, its beneficial to the enemy.

Also, I've been tower dived a lot (that's how I die half of the time in laning phase). Be it a Fizz+Nocturne combo, a Rek'sai over the wall into a Lux snare or whatever else. A lot of times your enemy will over extend under their tower. But if you can kill them in 1-2 seconds, you can tower dive with ease and move on with a kill/assist under your name.

i hate when they do that but i was like

I knew you would do that Zilean

I think that's what junglers be like. Laners be like, "Report F@cking jungle! He never ganks!"

it would sound like i'm making fun of junglers if i say it this way hehe

How I feel as Udyr when they ask me to gank mid lane

Akindled Soul1 votes

No...that's only half the story. Laners ask for ganks and when you gank for them they run away immediately after seeing the enemy jungler counterganking.

jk come here fast urgot Yorick is kicking my ass

OMG why haven't I seen this before?

I feel THIS almost every day, but if i'm near the area I will ward if its up or something to make sure my team mate isn't about to get ganked if i'm not on the other side of the map..

I main jungle, i hear this in at least 70% of my games, kinda sad

"PING PING PING PING" HELP TOP PLS,

Looks at top

"my top is pushed without wards"

30 seconds later

Top Dead: "I TOLD U TO GANK, NOOB JUNGLER, NOOB JUNGLER"

Wild Wes1 votes

I am a jungle main, but when I play a lane the jungle is like "YOUR LANE IS PUSHED I CAN'T GANK" even though the enemy laner is very aggressive. What they don't get is WHEN THE ENEMY LANER AND I ARE ENGAGED IN A FIGHT, THEY ARE NOW OPEN TO GANKS!

Just Blame Jenny1 votes

Sad but true.

I'm not going to gank a lane if it's pushed. I mean, I might towerdive if 1) the enemy laner is low, 2) I know where the enemy jungler is, and 3) I think it'll net us the tower or another objective. But I'd rather focus on lanes that make themselves gankable.
