this item basicaly replaced everything else for midlaners currently ... every game i see midlaners rushing it ... even those who shouldn even consider it like azir or a freaking swain
i think there is something wrong with this item ... it became a power pick for midlaners im waiting to see ludens echo on zed and talon

You want Luden's Echo instead of Deathcap if the 100+0.10ap proc deals more than 35% of the AP ratio on your favourite harassment combo. That generally applies to either poke mages (who only use one skill to harass) or mage-supports with relatively low ratios.
People with high-ratio combos get more damage out of Deathcap.
