Let's give Frost Queen 20% cdr

title, so why would whe give it to them? It's simple, poke support are heavy depended on this stats. While their masteries often are aimed to 10% cdr while their favorite boots are item 3158. Most those support have high base damage on their spells & they want to maximize their frequency as soon as possible. A common Morgana build back in the day had a 15% cdr start what made it possible to get to 40% really quickly with item 3158 & one support item.

If item 3092 had 20% these poke support have an easyer time to itemize and it gives a good reason to upgrade item 3098. And it's not that it would make the item OP, frost queen is right now the weakest of the 3 support items so buffs like that wouldn't break the item add all.

Ehhh, I'd rather not just give it cdr and call it a day. Support items are already loaded with that stat.

I'd rather see it's gold income increase, or maybe give it something unique that the other three don't have. (a team-wide speed boost is way stronger than a slow; FoTM's active can be pretty clutch as well)

What if Frost Queen's Claim gave mana back after dealing damage to enemy champions?

supports already cap cdr with ease anyway

I always hit max cdr super easy, and almost never pick up item 3158 . Cdr is already abundant in most support items. item 3050 item 3060 item 3504

I'd say also to buff frostfang with an extra 5 ap (so from 10 to 15 AP) and give it 5% CDR as extra incentive to upgrade.

I pretty much don't bother wasting, what, 500 gold on a shit upgrade?

As a support main myself, probably not. I already start off with 10% CDR from masteries. On top of the support item and the boots, that's 35% CDR within a gold cost of less than 2500. I also run Mikhael's Crucible on all the support mages, so that's already 40%. I don't even run the boots, but it wouldn't be difficult to pick up one item or another that maxes out my CDR.

It's not a difficult thing for supports to get; the main problem comes from rushing Sightstone long before it's ever actually useful and before upgrading the support item, which for the early game is your main source of income. It leaves you with a massive heap of vision at the start and nothing else; no mana regen, no armor, no AP, no magic resist, no mana or CDR, a pittance of health, and a heap of wards that will give you vision of the river and your side of the jungle, and that's it. It's just an extension of the ward muling that happened in Season 3 that Riot has since attempted to stop. Not to mention that at level 9, you can spend 250 gold for a much more useful variant of the Sightstone that doesn't waste precious item slots. Not that anybody knows this.
