Thoughts on Talon
Does anyone here actually succeed when playing Talon anymore? I have heard multiple pro players say that he is trashy now. Any thoughts on his current state?

His winrate is 2nd right now among assassins only behind 
. The problem is assassins in general aren't all that good right now in this meta.
hes one of the more reliable assassins to kill an adc. actually u can't do much as an adc to survive his combo. hes much harder to not die to then lb or zed.
He's always been unviable as a pick in competitive play but is currently strong in ranked dynamic queue/solo. According to champion.gg he sits at a 50% win rate in platinum and above with a play rate of 2.15%.
The issue is that Talon is gated by a rather terrible laning phase with no mobility in his kit leaving his only form of safety as a slow until he hits level 6.
His winrate is quite high because the only players who pick him are dedicated mains, and they tend to pick him in favorable matchups. Blindpicking Talon atm is incredibly risky as he's a terrible laner. I'd say he's in a weaker spot than before, his winrate is hardly above 50% now while it used to be 53%+ all the time (due to the aforementioned reason).
