So, back in season 5 I played Ahri pretty exclusively. The damage boost from her E and DFG made her a great assassin. Now, I am trying to get back into her as I think she is a fun champion to play. Am I the only person that feels like her damage is pretty wet noodly?
no i had one rush ludens ult in and miss everything but her ult thunderlords and foxfire which are all targeted and kill me.
Ahri is still good, she's more of an opportunistic assassin now rather than a pure assassin, most of the time functioning like a mage but able to suddenly go off and clean up whole teams if the opportunity presents itself. I recently decided to pick her up again as well after taking a break from playing her for a few months.
This season CDR and penetration are a thing. The game pacing has changed I think.
Notice that many are skipping ludens and maybe getting it 3rd or 4th now.
You cant say that champion with aoe true damage is wet noodly. Now add her over 9000 safety level and cc with no CD, then you will get into a conclusion shes on the op side.
It is bad but Ahri shouldn't be a good champion so good riddance.
ahri actually has a shit ton of damage. its just her power spike is differant.
