Is there any reason to play Lissandra?

Idk tbh, but she might do pretty well in assassin/fighter comp, who are not really in meta now. As far as I remember 2 of her abilities can freeze the target, ult also allows to prevent damage, and another ability allow to escape.

Meta comes and goes.

She is a set up champ when behind. A fucking monster when ahead.

But she is never bad.

She is a good pick against zed.

Not really. Her dmg isnt there for an all in champion. Though I think her kit is fun and has cool skins if I can't burst you then no thanks.

I don't think having cc is a good enough reason to play Liss. I can spam yellow card on TF and peel when I'm behind or get a pick when I'm ahead. Galio has cc and is much tankier and seems to do just as much damage than Liss as well. Idk her damage blows imo. Idk frens..

when u see a lissandra duoing with her jungle, u will know why shes "even picked"

shes disgusting by design and as such riot has no clue how to balance her without making the other laner want to rush qss first item and perma afk under tower.

The thing is (in my opinion, as a guy who stopped playing ranked a long time ago), she's hard to balance because she does the job of a tank (CC'ing an entire team, locking a carry), while being a burst mage. I'm not saying she's broken, in fact she's not, I'm just saying that it can be confusing when thinking about a way to orient her purpose in a team

I only play her for a few games every season to just get an S- and get the chest.
