No Vision means boring League of Legends for you and especially LCS

quite to my surprise, so far in LCS/LCK etc. I have seen the most boring pro league of legends I have ever seen. teams are aware of how hard vision is to come by and how EASILY what little vision you do put down is cleared. teams just flat out do not take risks and wait for fights that are an absolute forced fight. they do not fight otherwise. seriously, I mean it. watch. you will have games that about 1 kill per 10 minutes. with little to no fights breaking out.

we have amazing laners who just try to out farm each other because they know they absolutely cannot risk playing aggressive. The solo kill is just a thing of the past. it has been becoming less and less, but now due to the fact they know they have no vision, they simply don't do anything but farm a bit and back off.

i remember the one time a top laner (KFO of echo fox) pushed up on his own to try to get some farm he just got instantly collapsed on. and that was a HUGE mistake. basically these guys know how to play the game and they know that without vision they are basically fucked in terms of tactical aggression.

league of legends right now is a monte wet dream, but a bore for everyone else involved as the game purely comes down to rotations and being able to play the objective game by trading objectives at the right time or simply out manuevering the enemy team.

that said, I don;'t want a full blown snowball blood bath of season 4 where you had all kinds of aggression and games snowballing within 10 minutes (looking at YOU samsung white)....but please bring back vision. I think the yellow trinket should go back to what it was last season where you upgrade it at 9 and its basically a slightly weaker sightstone in your trinket slot. this allows you to make aggressive map movements and plays. you can split push more, you can set up baron baits and picks. you can do all kinds of things. and right now the game is honestly still fun at its core ONLY because its league of legends.

I am not going to quit on this game by any means, but I just find it less fun when there is less plays to be made and you feel like either "play EXTREMELY safe" or "take huge risks".

you simply cant even ward for yourself so you can farm a side lane safely anymore. and the only way to not get snowballed on when losing is to simply play passive and hope you can find a jungle camp or two to steal from your jungler. (sorry jungle mains)

League is VERY boring to watch right now and less fun than ever to play. I still enjoy it, but I think the vision changes were simply a bad decision.

This is relevant because Lloyd addresses several points as to why we would be seeing less fights than sieges even in League.

And like the recorded emphasis on battles, I think the scarcity of fights in game makes the fights that do happen more exciting. It's not like Pros drag out it out or can't end a game either. If the final battle of the game just happened, they just end it within a minute.

Excellent video.

The mid-game "break in action" is getting more obvious. See it so much in LCK, and in LPL.. NA kinda saw it but yea.. not very interesting atm.

First time LCS watcher huh? What you are describing is nothing new to this season, low action games have been quite common for some time. In this instance its got to do with a bunch of teams with roster changes and the new season happening at the same time. Hell there was a wave clear meta back in season 4 where teams would pick Gragas and Ziggs mid and just endlessly stall games, This meta is nothing compared to that. I think that's also the meta were DIG had the hour long game that had 6 kills total.

As far as solo que, Riot themselves admitted that no body bought vision. So the vision changes aren't doing much to a majority of the people that didn't bother with it in the first place. That being said I wouldn't be upset if green wards came back.

Green wards don't need like to come back. The yellow trinket needs to be able to have its level 9 upgrade from last season again

Green wards are fine. They cost gold and require you to back. Trinkets are badly designed and should NEVER give decent warding, they cost NOTHING and don't even require you to back.

I'd rather yellow/blue trinket be deleted entirely and replaced with something interesting like the red trinket, then bring back green wards.
