Can we change the Evelynn Ult indicator to when it will execute vs. when you get the bonus dmg?

Playing the new Eve I get extremely frustrated when the "X" is over the champ I'm chasing, and I then ult expecting it to kill, like with Cho'Gath or Zed. But then it doesn't kill them, meanwhile I get flinged back like 5 teemos worth and they escape with 50 HP.

the indicator only indicates the target is eligible for BONUS damage, not a death. it said so in the trailer video for the rework. its up to you to calculate whether or not they will die unfortunatley besides, no other execute tells when someone will die

Actually, Cho'Gath's ult DOES indicate when they will die, glowing red teeth appear underneath the champion when they will receive death by feast. Also, Zed's ult will make a swirling shuriken appear over a sure-to-die enemy's head, which disappears if they heal enough to be above the death threshold.

Yeah... thats the point... I want it to indicate the damn execute. Did you read the thread...? It's inconsistent. Why doesn't Veigar ult have an indicator then?

then why not do some quick math before you ult?

So youre saying you want me to make a split second calculation on how much AP/damage I have, how much HP they have, how much MR they have, know how many percent of my damage that amount of MR blocks, subtract that from my damage and then see if its greater than their HP? All before they get shielded, pop heals, increase their resists, flash away, dash away, stun me, etc. for a spell that is clearly meant as a diver execute?

technically these are meant to be calculated BEFORE you decide to go in. but don't get me wrong, you don't need to know the EXACT number, just a general idea of whether or not the full hp mid jhin or quarter health braum would be a better target. she was just reworked, so I can imagine you just don't have the experience to just eyeball it yet, like with most other assasins.

but to be fair before you say it, as a tank, cho gath would need an indicator because of everything being thrown at him, and all those animations being distracting, and zed everything is blinky split second.

@thread Eves thing not being an actual execute indicator is just burden of knowledge learning curve buzzword fluff.

It really should be a problem execute indicator - maybe have it be two indicators? One showing "you have bonus damage" that changes to "you can kill them now"?

I agree, Evelynns X should only appear when the champion is going to be executed. More like Cho'Gath's ult. When they are ready to be executed, glowing red teeth appear under the victim

This should be the way evelynns ult should work

im very late on this but its because eves r is not an execute it just does a lot of damage, on the other hand, pyke has an execute, chogath has true damage and zed doesnt have a mark anymore i think. eves r deals magic damage, so mr can reduce the damage so the league thinks that there shouldnt be an EXECUTE indicator
