Having Soraka or Janna as your support is the same as being AFK

They literally do nothing. So it's totally justified if I just AFK out, right? I had some troll pick Soraka today and about two levels into the laning phase I had enough, told him to fuck off, and went for a smoke. I was gonna lose anyway so it's not like it matters, right? As an ADC player, I almost hate Janna as much but not just quite enough since she at least does something.

Why do people pick these shitty passive supports other than to hide their mechanical ineptitude? It pisses me as an ADC player off.

While true, it is still best to play with who you are comfortable with - as long as that champion is suited for that role. :)

Soraka and Janna are supports... They are well-suited for the support role.

Urgot is technically an ADC. :)

Passive laning phase is a viable strat especially vsing hyper carriers like twitch. I play Lulu support and i am very passive with her. I throw out auto attack pokes when i can but wont ever risk doing that when i am vsing strong lane bullies like Zyra Leona Blitzcrank Thresh Caitlyn Ashe etc etc because all those champs have hard cc enguages that can easily cost us the lane if i get caught poking to much. However Lulu is very good at making a lane safe for farming and also allowing her ADC to win trades.

All supports benefit their ADCs differently, you just cant understand how to use a passive support like Soraka and Janna because you focus to much on getting early game aggressive kills to keep you ahead rather then farming.

Every support has their place; Therefore, Janna and Soraka supports do. You can build either of them passively or aggressively. Soraka and Janna ARE support roles. Regardless of what you want and whine for, you don't get to tell people what to do.

League is trying to be less toxic, so please stop contributing to the toxicity of this community. :)
