Quick question about Leona's Sunlight

I know that when an ally procs sunlight, its damage is based off the ally's magic penetration.

Is the damage applied by sunlight added to Leona's, or the Ally's post-game "damage dealt to champions" statistic?

Testing in a custom for "damage dealt" (should apply the same to damage dealt to champions as whatever the result is). Will edit this when I finish testing and have the results.

EDIT The champion that procs her passive is credited the damage.
