Q procs the passive of it. You start the combo with Q,E then passive blows and it really helps you to deal more dmg by ulti. its amazing and it works perfectly on garen. But I dont see garen players build it, even if they go ad garen they skip it. it gives ad,ms,arpen besides unique passive, which are kinda stats he needs. I don't know why they don't build it. I see garen players in dia-challanger streams and sometimes they buy it after BC.

Btw guys, why nobody builds sunfire on him anymore? Probuilds says it isnt in popular 6 items, but cinderhulk is.

dunno. last night saw a garen top take smite went full crit build and never built jungler item to upgrade smite.

he did well... but i dunno

Yeah only jungler garen's build it according to probuilds. Other than that, top garen skip it now. They rush BC then go deads'men,visage then more offensive items. I guess the extra damage you gain from dead's man plate on Q is more than sunfire will do with E. I guess this is why they skip it.

It absolutely is except its mediocre on Garen in many sense of the word.

Sunfire is pretty mediocre unless built as a first item and Garen prefers Cleaver as a first item. That's the main reason he doesn't like it. As for Duskblade, while the stats are nice, the passive is pretty mediocre because your combo takes longer than duskblade takes to proc.

Drak is okay on Garen, it does indeed have some synergy with his kit.

However, most games Garen will be required to itemize defensively in order to front-line for his team.

It is a viable option in certain situations, though I would hardly call it 'broken'.

Yeah ofcourse. I see ad garen's sometimes,( 2 deffensive 4 offensive build) and I tell them to try draktharr they never do it they build ie,titanic hydra instead. Well.... QE+drak passive+ulti literally one shot people even the tanks without villain.
