illaoi's E is better than most of the ultimates in the game.
Well, in case if you don't dodge it.... Good luck running around for 10 seconds. or wait there and die.

still not as good as
hook or
lantern.
sure, you can make the case that the ability on its own is better than certain ultimates like
ult. but in those cases the rest of that champions kit usually makes up for it.

Unless the ability is a Graves autoattack.
It doesn't mean near instant death like Blitzcrank's Q.
Like his, learn to dodge.
point is doesnt matter if you dodge 1000of them one = death that why ppl hate morgana
Same with
W.
and
Q
and
E
and
Q, W, E, and Autoattack
q
i love taking 65% of my hp as damage to a basic ability and am a bruiser/tank
not like she follows up with other basic abilities to do damage to you fam
usually she ults and the tentacles that spawn from her E also hit me and new ones spawn and attack faster. and i die basically to her ult even tho am really far away.
I love when people don't dodge or stand behind minions or just sit and watch idly as I hit their Spirit.
am not gonna dodge every single skillshot. nobody can. few weeks ago i was watching a renekton in lcs get hit by that shit and die. and they are professional players. what kind of fucking excuse is that.
oh wait your bronze why am i reasoning with you.
No shit, that's why skillshots have a reward. Because they're dodgeable, and most don't go through minions.
Oh right, you cry about almost anything. Why am I reasoning with you?
this isnt about dodging. Please stop saying that. Dodge blitz's Q and he is useless, dodge thresh hook and he is useless etc etc.
just like you know how to dodge, he also knows how to juke you. Never seen a good blitz? or thresh?
Challanger players don't know how to dodge? Because when I watch them, I see blitz rarelly misses his Q or same with thresh. 2600 elo players don't know how tot dodge? shame on them.
Uh… and then you realize at that level, both players know how to dodge or land skillshots. Sooo... If skillshots could never be landed, they'd be useless. If they had no reward, they'd be useless.
I wasn't aware a massive AoE bomb that silences everyone inside was useless. Or a MS buff into an AA empower that knocks up.
I wasn't aware Thresh didn't have other abilities.
Yeah but, you know, blitz skillset is designed for grabbing someone and making fights 4v5 even before teamfight starts. Its what he got, I call blitz balanced honestly. I literally have no problems about it.
but illaoi's grab is on the other hand is nonsense to have. Its actually more rewarding than any other hook abilities. Because as I said before, blitz-thresh must land their Q's to be more effective. But illaoi doesnt even need his grab to play with. I have 3k hp along with 200 armor, she grabs me now I have 1khp left and I have to run to dodge her tentacles. This isnt fair. I mean , she doesn't even need that skill. Change it with whatever gives CC or little damage, she will still be the same.
but change blitz Q or remove it with something else will definelity kill the champ. This is what im trying to tell.
Illaoi's E effect is much more delayed and less lethal. Even with damage reflection, you will not lose more than around half health even if Illaoi goes full AD. And even once that happens, the slow is negligible in a teamfight, and the debuff can be dodged or just cleansed altogether. Blitzcrank's grab is almost certain death by the nature of him pulling you into his team.
And you're exaggerating the damage.
Thresh is useless if he misses a hook? Are you insane?
He has Flay and his Lantern could be a champion defining ultimate on its own!
its what community usually say. " Just dodge his Q during laning phase, you ll be allright." What if thresh knows how to land his Q? What if he played over 1500 thresh games so far and he is good at playing him?
Then you need to be good at not giving him opportunities to let him hit you.
It's a skill match up. Do you really need to complain if someone with more skill hits you?
No, it isnt.
Or you know, actually punish her for it? Or stand behind/weave through minions?
