so why is darius so strong

why does darius have to be so strong? why does he have to have a pull that is the same length as almost any ranged champion, its not like any champion is already scared of him, and why does he need a heal, its not like he wasn't already unkillable, and why does he need true damage, its not like he doesnt do too much damage already. and most of all why the hell does item 3071 proc with his bleed, its utter bullshit

"Witness true strength!" - Darius, 2012 To be honest, I still think juggernauts as a whole are a dumb idea that work in theory but don't translate well into game. They're better than tanks because they need to be dealt with and can't be ignored, and a front line can't go toe to toe with one without getting their face kicked in. Terrible for the tank support main such as I.

Play about 30 more games with him. Try to take him top in all your games, but don't be afraid to jungle with him or bring him Mid vs match ups like Yasuo, Veigar, and LeBlanc. You'll end up losing a few of those games, and those are the games where you'll figure out the %%%%%s in his "armor" I could just out right discuss with you his weaknesses, but honestly you could also argue or debate them down or away. As a Darius player, I also think his weaknesses are best discovered, not discussed ;)

Yes, I've had a bunch of games where I took Darius somewhere other then top, and my team was apprehensive. The trick is to be neutral. Let them know you understand why they don't want you to do that. But be firm in the fact that you want to, and you are, and to at least give you a chance. You get in game, you get in the zone, and you do your thing. Jungle Darius is a jungler. You're Darius, but you're a jungling Darius. You wanna wash your warrior enchant and gank anytime you have Red buff up. Try to give kills, don't hesitate to get them yourself though either.

Mid Lane Darius. Don't try to show off. Farm, pick your trades, and catch people off guard. Support Darius? Remind them you have a slow, a grab, and an execute. You're tank, bring dmg to the bot lane, and cc. You q a minion wave once basically and your adc mops up the cs with ease. You eat aggro and turn ganks into triple kills. If your adc isn't the Rock Star arch type, they're gonna get over whatever incidents your bleed pops a minion or gets a kill, because you're both snow balling.

Doesn't always happen, but you have both not let your team mates reactions put you in a bad spot, while also not ignoring them and being respectful of their input. I've had more games where people have "come around" to my non meta Darius then games where they start out and end up negative about my choices.

kite and item 3033 counter him well.he becomes dangerous when he kills someone with his ultimate. (so avoid having a team without a strong frontlane if you're against him)

Lel, all you have to to beat darius is not feed him. He's heavily reliant on getting items so he won't instamelt during teamfights. Not that she's a straight counter until she reaches level 6, but I've had alot of success shutting him down as Kayle, though the matchup is alot harder since his remake since you have to be extremely careful early, Kayle however outscales so hard that if you do get through laning phase in one piece, he's nothing more than cannon fodder to you. I haven't tried it myself but Quinns kit also screams counter. Tryndamere can also wreck Darius, also given you get to lvl 6 in one piece and manage to farm well under turret and have decent enough reaction time to ult his dunk. Once you do get ahead of Darius he's literally nothing but a walking sack of meat.

If you get countered by a decent Darius, being a melee toplaner of the kind that can't deal with him, then I understand the frustration, but then again, getting countered by someone who knows how the play the counter is always frustrating regardless of who you pick.

All that said, I really don't think he is OP, any team that has any kind of peel will just sh*t in him during teamfights, unless Darius does a perfect flash engage, which he can only do once every 5 minutes or so.

I say this having lost to Dariuses quite a few times myself.

*Darius squares off with 4 enemies contesting dragon. Allies linger between Raptor and Red camps (We are blue team) Our team is unsure of when the right time is to come and help me, wether they should wait for Red Team to start Dragon or not. They "ebb and flow" trying to check the Red Team. Red Team seems unsure, literally stuck between the rest of my team, Dragon, and a Darius. Do they ignore me and collapse on my team, and risk me flanking them from behind? Do they begin Dragon and try to secure it, using Red Team's split positioning to weaken us? Or do they all engage on Darius and try to shut me down, and risk losing dragon?

Long story short I took the decision away from Red Team and hard engaged a fight. I drug the scrap down to the river bush nearest bot lane, and curb stomped the collective enemy team's HP bar's down to half. I valiantly give up full shutdown Gold Bounty as I incur my first death. My team picks up our second Dragon buff, ace the enemy team, and bee line down bot lane to push for the win.

Sometimes the most dangerous Darius is the one that you can beat.
