Allow Distortion to Work With Mobility Spells

I mean, come on. Its basically useless right now. Even if you bring flash, ghost, and/or teleport, you'll never use it to its fullest potential. Its just so useless its laughable.

But I say lets make it useful, and let it work with mobility spells.

All spells would be half of what Distortion would normally upgrade them, except movespeed buffs. Though no buffs would stack due to champs like Riven gaining like 60% bonus movespeed or whatever it reduces to when multiplied.

So, if you were Hecarim, and used your E, you would gain 13% more movespeed than normally. Same with Rammus ball, Lucian W(when proced), and so on.

Using a dash or blink, such as Shen's E or Ezreal's E would trigger a movespeed bonus of 15% for 1 second after using.

Using a teleport ability such as Twisted Fate's R or Shen's R would trigger the movespeed bonus of 15% for 3 seconds after using.

This would make Distortion really viable on super mobile champs such as Riven, Shen, Hecarim, and so on(Hecarim, though not using any dashes or teleports, as a jungler commonly takes flash-smite or teleport-smite, and as a top laner takes flash-teleport, so it would allow use of every speed buff).

Edit: Sorry if nobody agrees with this, but in my opinion its a useless boot enchantment. Pretty much just another color to be an annoyance when trying to find the right boot enchantment, heck, it would be better if Riot just deleted it overall.

Why? Do you wanna f*** even harder the non mobile champions? Distortion doesn't need to be viable.

No. Mobility is already very strong. By the way, it would make furor useless.

  1. mobility is allready strong and oppressive enough and dictates the flow of the game

  2. i agree that distortion boots are somewhat useless for the upgraded effect. the cooldown reduction on the sums is nice tho and if you couple it with the masteries, you get a pretty big advantage for a price. tho the upgraded ghost might seem intriguing, simply buying alacrity gives you almost the same movementspeed but permanently.

i actually almost always buy alacrity.

Hell.

No.

signed,

Every immobile champion already facing enough disadvantages.

I got a better idea. Why not have something that helps everybody without mobility spells that can't work for mobile champions, and then maybe this idea could see the light of day.
