Delaying Infinity Edge Completion After First Zeal Item

Could delaying the completion of Infinity Edge in favor of more Attack Speed and Critical Strike Chance be a reasonable situational choice?

Background Critical Strike Marksmen have the following initial build order excluding boots: BF Sword, Zeal, Zeal Item, BF Sword.

The intuitive next purchase would be Infinity Edge. 30% Critical Strike Chance and 15% Critical Strike True Damage Conversion are nothing to sneeze at. However, for that same 1,300 gold, a marksman could instead buy another Zeal. Though offering only half the Critical Strike Chance, Zeal would also offer 15% Attack Speed and 5% movement speed.

At 1 Attack Speed, Critical Strike Chance and Attack Speed offer the same contribution to DPS, making the two purchases offer the same effective stat buff. The difference is the passives. Infinity Edge’s conversion helps against armored targets while Zeal’s movement speed helps against poke and with rotations.
