I'm busy raiding in WoW so I'm only getting to watch snippets of each match, but what I saw of Lustboy's Bard gameplay made me proud.

Ran into 3 bards in the past 24 hours. They all were excellent. I had one get his ult off on warwick and another annoying champion (no allies even) and we went to mop the floor with the rest of their team.
The problem with bard is his absolutely high skill cap.
Locking Bard is the easiest way to get someone on your team to dodge if you decide you don't want to play lol.

Bard is absolutely a failed design. There's just too much that can go wrong. If pros struggle to use it, how the fuck are regular players in solo queue supposed to do anything with it? Riot really blew it with Bard, and it's kind of gratifying to see the point proven in coordinated pro play. He's a high risk low reward champ, which is another way to describe garbage tier champs in general.
From what I saw, that was just bad use overall, especially the Sion mess up.

to be fair, TSM is piss-pot terrible without bard on their team.
but the champion adds literally nothing of help to the lane phase. and his ult is really easy to fuck up. people use it to 0 effect all the time.

im dodging every single bard game, and going to kick him out of every team builder game. because even if he was good on paper, which except for his ult in an ideal scenario, he isnt imo. ive no one ever seen him play to any effect. saves a lot of headaches and wasted games.

And just like you said, it's possible to win a game you did poorly in and lose a game you did exceptionally well in. Tell me again why winrate is everything when you essentially just admitted that a good KDA does not mean a win? That is, a good Bard can still lose despite doing well?
I played and learned him for myself. I played him in ARAM, URF, TT, SR, but not in Dominion. He is just boring. There is a polar that just wants to be on the side with the least salt. I'm not sure why people say Bard isn't terrible, because even to good players he can perform terribly.
Also, I wouldn't mind it if you migrated servers and boards. You won't be missed.

Bard was definitely a "fuck it" pick since TSM didn't really have anything to lose. Everybody at the stadium, including the announcers, were losing their shit over the pick and the most meaningless Bard contributions. Bard was more of a spectator than anything else.
