Maybe Ashe's last nerf was a bit too much.

Hello! Ashe main here Ashe.

Perhaps if there is anyone more in love with the Ashe rework, I'd like to meet them.

However, since the last nerf, she's definitely a lot weaker.

Let me explain.

Back at the beginning of the season, I devised a build where I built 90% crit. item 3031 item 3046 item 3046 item 3035 item 3072 item 3072///item 3153 . I loved this build. By the end of the game, 40 - 45,000 damage was about my average. I felt like a carry. But Ashe still lacked the massive steroids that ADCs like Vayne and Jinx get built in their kit. Every time I picked Ashe in ranked, there was always these guys going "DONT PLAY ASHE WORST ADC". But she is my favorite champion. She's the reason I play League of Legends.

When Riot Meddler announced that changes were coming, I watched the forums and PBE updates every day. I was so excited for them.

When they came out, Ashe was good. She was great, actually. If you played smart, you could hit the enemy team with a volley and flurry away. Not being able to crit was okay. At that point in time, I would build item 3031 item 3071 item 3085. I could slice teams in half. About 30,000 damage at the end of a game, but it would AoE. Kinda felt disappointed about that loss of power.

Queue in the nerfs.

Ashe's early game was good. Now I reverted back to standard build, item 3031 item 3087. Her late game had begun to fade in power, but was still there as long as you could get flurry going. 25,000 damage per game.

Queue in more nerfs.

What? I have no mobility, a slow, and a stun. So now I have to waste my steroid's power by slowly ramping it up, and in that time I'm probably dead. My damage output is at 20,000. I feel like I've done nothing. Even if I am really fed, at most I do 30,000. Just started playing Vayne the other day. I go 30-35,000 on mediocre games. What the hell?

Why the hell would I want to play a no-escape ADC with less damage, when I could play one of the Gods of ADC?

tl;dr I love Ashe, but her nerfs have made her popularity and win rate go down. I do miss the critical chance, and I understand why bringing it back would be insane. But maybe a QoL buff might help her stay up with AoE Crit-Rockets Jinx and % Max-Health True Damage Vayne.

That buff? I really don't know. Bring back the ability to get her flurry quicker and maybe she will stay with the big dogs. She's hanging on at 50.55% win rate and a 12% pick rate. That's down from a month ago.

or, we could just get rid of the crit on the rockets and the max health % true damage. both changes are way overdue.

Average pick rate, 2nd highest win rate: http://champion.gg/champion/Ashe

If you're picking Ashe for the damage then you're a pretty bad Ashe "main"... You can lose lane as Ashe and still win the game through her CC/Utility.

Thanks for being an asshole. We're looking here at Platinum plus levels. I was looking at LoLKing's generalized winrate.

However, she is still not the number one win rate ADC. Its actually Sivir. And that is still Platinum. Each tier has its own unique flavor on what's good and bad. I used the generalized win rate from LoLKing to accomadate League in every color of the wheel.

And no, I don't pick Ashe just for the damage. But how the hell are you supposed to beat a 40,000 damage ADC when you can barely dish out 30,000?

She has a lot of utility and that's why I love her. But you can't be playing the support all the time.

Anyways, this post was meant just to show that I thought the last nerf with her stack gain was a bit too much. She wasn't face rolling like the other hypercarries. She had her own strength.

Really, if you want to call someone a bad "main", go somewhere else. That was really rude.
