Just a little concern-question about Honor system and Punishment influence

Doesn't it kinda seem...flawed...to start at honor Level 2 for everyone? The reason why i ask that is simple.

I Noticed that when you move your mouse over the honor badge on your profile it says a tooltip explaining everyone starts at honor Level 2. That Kind of makes shaming people easier. Why is that you ask? well....because of this:

When you suffer a punishment by Riot, even just a chat restriction, you get stripped down to Honor Level 1, right? Basically you expose everyone to be publicly branded as someone who has suffered a punishment since the new Honor was released.

Honestly, i have not seen any of that in my own games, but i have heard a couple of people got very much shamed to the point they had to afk the game out of fear for further bullying because people made fun of them being on Riot's strike list, which has become visible with the Honor system.

While i can understand that putting people on honor Level 2 seems an easier start reward-wise, it does concern me how people are gonna be diversed and classified much stronger on their assumptive behaviour. People who are Honor Level 1 have dreadfully fair chances of having their behinds verbally handed to them because they recently made something to be reported and to be punished. Which, as far as i am concerned, does not really help or promote for those people to be more sportsmanlike in future games.

As i said, sure, i have not experienced that myself so far, but it makes me worry very much about the community's set of behaviours once that sunk in a bit. It is already bad enough that people would go as far as to spit racial slurrs every 3rd word just to shame others, but now having a legitimate argument supported by the game itself? I raise a red flag there.

And i know, quite a number of people will disagree with me on this, but i felt like offering my opinion on this and connect my concerns in the best possibly formal expression. It's just what i think exposes people to more mental stress and danger in this already swamp low standart that a considerable amount of people have.

Having said all of that, i persoally would of been more comfortable starting at honor Level 1 for everyone.

Anyone else want to share their opinion on this?

Actually if you look on someones profile in the game client, their Honor Level will be hidden so there is no real way of knowing. Not sure how the situations you have described could have happened. Either way, if you are honor level 1 and was punished for being toxic it's a bit of poetic justice for them to get treated poorly is it not? Not saying it should happen, but does it really matter all that much?

well...again, i have not made personal experience with it...i do not know much about it, i made this post originally because i heard rumors about this happening ever since, and assumed people found a way to see it.

I just got concerned and wrote this out to share my thoughts

TL;DR: People do shit and get punished. Punishment is to hard because u cannot save yourself into a save zone and instead get deserved harrasment.

OP, if someone behaves like shit, we as humanity should definetively not be friendly to them. whoever let u grow up with this kind of thinking hasnt done a good job. I wish honor lvl 1 people would even get a nice announcement or some visuals(black brocken champion border) maybe then we would have less people behaving like shit, because it hits them where it hurts, which is what punishments are about.

a punishment is to Redirect someone who misbehaved back to a proper direction. what you are suggestiong is blatant tyranny and THAT, my friend, is something that Needs professional Treatment. "oh this guy was bad and got punished. lets harrass him JUST to be sure he learned it" thats the kinda mentality that made league toxic to begin with. how is promoting it anyhow helpful?

nope, this isnt the mentality that made leage toxic. Its your mentality of softcore punishments which allows this toxic behaviour to continue. let me give u an example. Lets take Bob. bob is male female a flying appache helicopter and an asshole. now bob visits some modern western country. And there he robs someone. With our so called advanced rights and your kind of mentality so he gets fined to some days in prison and to pay a fine. This is very, very, very, very hard on bob, because he does not like living in a warmed building, with people caring for his needs. He will get 3 or 4 meals a day that he does not need to pay for. He will get medical examination which he also does not have to pay for. In short, people who do not care about Bob(taxpayers) have to finance his living. And with all the guards and stuff, this is pretty expensive. And dont forgett that in some countrys prison innmates earn money...

lets make another example. Bob now travels trough algeria. Because Bob is smart he will not rob someone. Because Bob knows hes not in a so called civilized country, he fully well knows that if he is caught breaking the law, he will get a REAL punishment. Not often used in big, famous areas but often used in backwater regions, they simply cut off your hand. Or hands. Simply knowing this COULD happen if u BREAK the law will stop you(and Bob) from breaking the law. And we are not yet talking about getting stoned, hanged, or lashed with a cane. Info Here, and here

Now, after this, could u tell me the Correlation between hard and painfull punishments and low crime rates in Islamic countrys while looking at horrendous crime rates and pussy punishments in modern western countrys?

And then bring this to league. If we would punish them hard(aka flame em for being a shameless rulebreaker) would u think that toxic behaviour would increase, or decrease? You may want to consider this bevore answering
