that would make the ult absolutely pointless. one of the main uses for it is for counterengages. meaning, freezing your team while its getting hit by tibbers, mf ult and other shenanigans at the same time.

freezing projectiles would just delay your inevitable doom, instead of preventing it.

Tibbers isn't a projectile. And it works both ways. Freeze the enemy team right before that sweet sej Ult hits them? Well, not only is it gonna still hit them, but now your team will get even better positioned for it.

I don't know that they have the tech to do that. It would looks epic, and I'm sure it would lead to some "WTF just happened" moments.

That being said, It would negate a lot of the utility of stasis if the things coming at you kept coming afterwards. So, even if it is possible, I don't think such a thing would make for better gameplay than what Bard has now.

LCSBIGPLAYS as support, from dragon pit, freezes an Ashe ult down mid lane that would have been a perfect engage on their team. They get a great counter-engage after easily sidestepping the arrow, win the fight handily, and win game.

I support.
