Since when does viktor E not go through yasuo windwall.

First off. its a laser. not a projectile. just like lux ult

point number two. i swear on my grave that hasn't yet been made. maybe in 60 years. or a cpl 200 hopefully we get to some scientific way to live longer. but anyway. viktor E. used to go through the windwall. about 5-6 months ago. i used to spam viktor. and beat yasuos because His E used to go through the damn windwall. what the hell happened? i need an official response am 100% sure viktor E used to go through the damn trump wall. riot has changed this somewhere in some patch with a non mentioned buff.

I think it's because it starts from point A and goes to point B with a travel time, making it a projectile. A laser in league has no travel time.

Lux's ultimate for example has a warning, but an instantaneous effect over a long distance. There is no travel time for the actual damage of the ability.

the afterburn used to go through when you upgraded it not the projectile it self.

Since it's a vector-cast ability, you should be able to just target the cast to begin behind the wall as a way to get around it.

Here's a quick visual representation (where "|" = Yasuo's Windwall and "*" = the point where you set the laser to begin casting):

no if your lazer runs into his windwall it always stopped it but you can go over it

You could always cast it behind the wall.
