Lux is now the best mid laner in the game for soloQ

She's absurdly strong, absurdly reliable, and absurdly safe. Her cancerous, degenerate playstyle and uninteractive laning is worse than it ever has been.

Why the hell was she ever considered for buffs, when she was sitting dandy at a 52%+ winrate BEFORE her buffs on buffs on buffs that started in 5.15?

I highly doubt it. She's in a better place now, but there's far more reliable mid picks than Lux.

Balance assumes optimal play. Solo Que is not that. Winrates aren't all that relevant but I agree Lux is strong. However, there is never a pick that is always best.

because people that can´t hit skillshots might have troubles playing her...so they screamed for buffs (and probably will keep on screaming for more).

Lux is fine, and has plenty of counters. Gragas, in particular, wrecks her in mid-lane.

The buffs she got were because in pro play, there's no reason to pick her over Orianna or Morgana.

47% winrate no utility offers nothing to a team other than the ability to kill a single target of choice, then becomes useless

nice!

that's fine, she holds up to popular picks right now

would be nice if I could react to her E faster though

whoa. hold on there. Cancerous? Degenerate? Reliable and Safe i agree with you 100%, but you're making it seem that she has no counterplay which is not the case. She has sub-par waveclear early game so picking a champion that can clear will work against her. Her high mana costs aren't going to help her either. Get right up in her face pre-6. She q's you? Good. Make her waste her mana while you smash that wave against her tower. Pre-6 she also is very reliant on passive procs, which in most cases she has to put herself in some danger to use. Also she has no escapes which means with a bit of outsmarting and just being better then she is, will result in at least forcing her out of lane. dodging her E can be a bit annoying, but unlike thresh who can fake in one direction and hook in another, you can see her E coming and exactly where it will land. with enough practice it really isnt too hard.

the info on how to beat her is all right here, and not just in this post, in a few other posts as well. Use it or dont use it, it doesnt concern me one bit either way. Just make sure to be informed before throwing around terms such as cancerous.
