Did Riot forget about LeBlanc?

Runes are currently taking up the bulk of Riot's development power. Once Runes hit live and the first bulk of balancing has concluded, many Rioter's will return to their main projects such as LeBlanc's update.

Last I knew they basically said "fuck it, we don't know what LeBlanc is supposed to be" and sent out a survey with a time frame of sometime in preseason looking at her again.

Riot said they'll be announcing changes during preseason and will probably update her once more in april

Not sure that she even requires them, at least she's far from a priority. In fact she's probably one of the most balanced assassin. Her early is somewhat weak, and she requires some kills to really get going. She does snowball hard, but she requires some skills to get there. She also sees some pro plays, and despite being able to perform some amazing plays, she does have clear weaknesses that are relatively easy to punish if you know about them.

She needs a brand new kit that can satisfy long forgotten leblanc mains and riot.

Isn't she 100% P/B at Worlds right now? I think her SoloQ winrate is doing okay too. Her kit needs some changes though, I don't know who though LeBlanc needed waveclear added to her kit but they need a good smack on the noggin.

Honestly, I remeber fighting LeBlanc awhile ago, and to say the least, her aim wasn't... on point. But then, she eventaully lands one chain, proceeds to nearly one shot me with the chain tld gunblade combo. too much power is in her chains.

Pretty sure they said it'd be like during or after pre-season. So, soonish.

They haven't forgot her, they just don't know how to change her to fit her identity and make her reasonably balanced.

It's plain to see there's buffs to every single mage in the near future, in the form of no one gaining MR from the new masteries system. Magic damage in general is basically being given free flat pen!

Let's be real: mages would be relevant if there was scaling mpen marks to counteract scaling MR runes. Riot never gave them that. Now everyone's basically equalized! For all I know they're gonna make magic items worse when the new masteries hit but I highly doubt it. I'm gonna try out Ziggs and AP Ezreal first thing when they hit! I bet LB will be good without Gunblade too! Hopefully this is the push that's needed to make other AP items good so mages have more to build with.
