My unpopular opinion on the Ap item changed

I think the tear changes are huge. Really. In a good way. The reduced mana cost on all abilties means one thing in lane, you can harass stronger in a shorter window because:

1.) you have more mana overall 2.) it costs less to use your abilties.

So for the window in which you want to get some low and KEEP THEM LOW you can now do this. Regen vs ad resource less mids like zed and Yasuo is shit anyway as it takes forever to regen one spell that they will have healed up off of in the time it took you to regen anyway.

I think more mana is better overall. The only place this hits mages is in the later stages of the game or in extended sieges where you need regen after poking so u have enough mana to team fight once the engage happens.

Not sure about hextech items but feel the mobility Dash item is overblown. Sounds good on paper but will be meh in practice as duskblade came out pretty balanced.

I think zhonyas change is necessary as I only buy it for the active and if I want raw ap damage I would go another item anyway. Making cost cheaper so I can get Th active sooner is much needed and a good change. 10% CDR now means I can run Ionians, zhonyas, nomicon to reach cap and no longer need to run it in my runes. This means a strong level 1-3 for literally any mage.

This is also a huge buff to ad casters who built tear. Varus, jayce, urgot, ezreal, now have 25% reduced mana cost . So it's not just mages being affected.

The only thing I'm sad wasn't change as deathcap wasn't buffed to compensate for loss of ap like last time. I know MR items are being nerfed pretty heavily, but that's needed. Tanks are too strong. No need to nerf ap items across the board to make up for mr loss. Leave ap where it's at or buff deathcap so late game mages can still do good damage.
