Riot, Can you please make Irelia a top laner again?

I love Irelia for her theme and visual aesthetic first and foremost, with her play style coming in a close second. She's been my main since i started the game in S4, and when the rework got announced, I told myself I'd play her no matter what the rework did to her.

While I was blown away by what Riot did with her rework, i'm currently beyond disappointed with how they've now chosen to balance her as though she's a mid-lane assassin .

I'm not planning on giving up Irelia, but I don't want to have to learn how to play an entirely new lane (Including having to learn new champions appropriate for said lane since she's getting banned so often) just to play her.

Please stop balancing her as though she were a super bursty assassin. Please make her top-lane strength reasonable again.

I'm pretty sure they did intent for her to be played Top lane.

It was the community that suddenly decided to take her Mid lane.

Her build path is still Trinity-Steraks combo alogside Tanky items. She simply works better in mid-lane VS bursty assassins.

I think it's more of the community that made her into a mid-lane pick. Her kit is a bit too overloaded (at least damage wise, IMO) and non-punishable half the time, which is a perfect fit for midlane unfortunately.
