Can we disable Blight Stack Detonation on Varus if he hasn't got W unlocked?

W SHOULD unlock the ability to detonate Blight...

But if you don't have W unlocked and use (R) on someone followed by any other basic ability (Q or E) it will still detonate Blight stacks to deal an unknown % Max HP damage.

This shouldn't be a thing and it's most likely yet another bug but because it's like this, it allows to Detonate Blight Stacks as well when he steals Varus' R despite the fact that Blight Detonation should be strictly tied to Varus' W.

Sylas just Not detonating blight stacks would be a better idea. Stacks can only be detonated by a Varus' abilities.

I mean yeah it would be simpler, but I was only just trying to explain why Sylas was able to, because the issue originates with the inconsistency in Varus' Kit.

Its because the R is seperate from the W.

R specifically applies max blight stacks of its own, independantly of his W. Its part of his ult since you can't make his W apply blight when he hits a target with Chain of Corruption.

I know this but W allows abilities to detonate Blight as that's the Passive of W, even if R applies Blight it doesn't mean that basic abilities should detonate those stacks if W isn't unlocked.
