Why does Syndra even exist anymore? Revert her nerfs.
Syndra was my most played champion in season 3 and 4. Now I hardly ever play her.
Let's look at what you did to her, Riot: -Removed DFG -Nerfed Athene's (Syndra is mana hungry. Morellos makes you severely limit how much you cast.) -Made her E really hard to hit, all the while adding more and more mobile champions making it even harder to hit
And most importantly: -Gutted her Q early damage (50 base damage ensures you will lose any early trades)
Why does she even exist when Veigar does everything she does, but better? -Veigar's Stun completely blows Syndra's out of the water, and Veigar's is on only a 2s longer cooldown (1.5s vs 2.5s stun, and Veigar's zones out a huge area for 3 seconds.) -Veigar infinitely scales -Veigar is useful even when behind, his stun + the fact his ult scales off enemy AP, and he gets AP just for farming -Veigar and Syndra ults are just single target damage, yet Syndra's takes tons of prep/mana to do comparable burst (4 Qs = 240 mana just to set up her ult, not mentioning that 4 orbs take 12 seconds to get out, meaning you have to prepare it well in advance, while Veigar can cast his at full power whenever he wants. If the enemy backs off while you prep, you just wasted up to 240 mana. Oh, and for a 7 orb ult you need max CDR.)
The one thing Syndra had going for her before was her early game damage that allowed her to be a threat in lane. They removed 20 base damage off of her bread and butter skill at rank 1. That's 28.6% of its damage at rank 1.
She wasn't even pick/ban status in her heyday. People just got mad that they would get caught out by her stun and bursted with DFG. Well guess what, her stun hitbox was nerfed and DFG removed. Why was that not enough? Please just give back her Q damage.
TL;DR: Give Syndra back her Q damage. Revert this nerf: Base damage reduced to 50 / 95 / 140 / 185 / 230 from 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230.
