@Riot : Removal of the Normal Draft queue is a disaster for me and many others

Dear Riot,

I consider Normal Draft one of the best things that ever happened to lol. It is almost perfect queue for me!

I HATE blind pick! Blind pick is a DISASTER! I would almost always chose to have longer queue time with the ability to pick the positions that I like to play before shorter queue time but having to fight for the position I like to play or even worse to GET STUCK with position I DO NOT ENJOY playing or EVEN WORSE to get people that troll because they didn't get the position they wanted (it all happened so many times before in blind pick)!

The Ranked Flex mode is not a good replacement for Normal Draft as it DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO PLAY WITH ALL MY FRIENDS which are rated silver to diamond!!!

The TL:DR is that they are not planing on returning draft or do anything for the players that played it. They wish to make a "better" normal queue that will replace both draft and blind but IT WONT HAPPEN ANY TIME SOON!

Blind pick is a disaster. I remember having "ADC" or whatever position I wanted to play saved in the clipboard so I could spam it at the beginning of the pick chat. Draft is so much less stress and better as far as acclimating me to get ready to get back into ranked. It NEEDS to stay.

Otherwise you end up with a Sona top and 3 ADCs, no tanks except maybe a Darius.

I hate blind pick, it becomes a race of which computer loads the champ select faster and even then, you can get the trolls that don't want to acknowledge they lost the role, you can laso expect the OP flavor of the month to show up in almost every game. I would take draft with auto-fill over blind pick any day

I simply cannot understand why Riot would ever remove Draft over Blind Pick. Despite the fact that, Blind is quite popular in EUNE, removing Normal Draft instead of that, is foolish to say the least.

They should simply make it so that people can start playing Draft Pick from the start and completely remove blind pick. Not only is the latter very toxic in terms of champ select and role calling but, it's also a totally different experience from what Ranked Draft is. In other words, it does not prepare newer players for ranked nor does it allow proper new champion/role testing. Blind Pick is a RELIC OF THE PAST. IT SHOULD BE REMOVED IN PLACE OF DRAFT.

If Riot refuses to revert the removal of this awesome game mode, i'll simply migrate EUW. In fact, i'll demand free transfer...

let me tell you how this is going to go. -> Riot has removed draft ->players plead ->Riot continues to ignore ->One season later riot will finally give you draft pick back, and say "sorry".

and then pretend like they are "great" for giving it back to you.

I think there would be more uproar about blind pick being removed over draft since it is played like 30% more than normal draft. I can see why riot took out normal draft but I agree even though that in your region your player base isn't that high I think players are willing to wait in longer queues to play the type of champ select they want. With whom ever they want.

Best advice I can give is get your Solo/Duo rank high and lower your flex to play with your friends (that might be what I do). Could actually be a good way to get your friends to become better players maybe.

Give us Normal Draft back on EUNE! I am not into ranked, beacuse if too often "not my match" and as long i am playing ONLY with my friend,s, i want to have a chance.Even when i am playing support only. BLind picks are too toxic and gottoo big ammount of instalockers, clipboard pasters etc. RITO PLSitem 3187 item 3070

I just kinda realized the thing is that there very few who even care about this Flex queue... For casual play we go to Normal Draft, and for serious (for those of us who take it seriously) will go to Solo Queue.

Flex is a middle pointless ground that, if Normal Draft goes away, nobody is gonna take Flex seriously, removing the point of even calling it a competitive mode.

From my point of view: I have 3 premade friends (4 people with me), normal draft is removed and we can't play flex. We are forced to play blind if we wanna play together. We always wait what role random player wants and then pick out lains so it's not so toxic... but I really hate there is no bans and I need to play against broken champions :/

Totally agreed on that, I mean, was it that hard hard to just leave the draft be, even when "not many" people played it? Because for those who did, this is a huge disapointment. item 3070

ive just recently played a game of ranked flex where I was against a diamond talon and I'm bronze 5. My team decided not to help the bronze 5 especially because I'm the only bronze in the game. I was told constantly that I was bronze trash and my comments did not mean anything because I'm bronze. I'm not playing like my life depends on it but that's what it feels like. I cant play with my friends and league is suppose to be a team game.

You can actually play ranked flex with people of any division; you just to either invite them by the recommended friends list or manually by pressing on the invite button and typing their name. Heimerdinger
