I disagree about Sunfire... IBG is the main item breaking this core... Sunfire gives sustained damage for sticking, IT ALWAYS HAS. Iceborn gauntlet has always made you stick. What it hasn't always done is give you 20% CDR. You underestimate how completely broken easy CDR makes a champion.

There are champions that Sunfire is a completely healthy item on. Those would be manaless tanks. Akali uses it but it's not like she's a massive offender of the core. She can't feasibly access IBG. If you haven't noticed MOST top tier tanks can exploit IBG and sunfire rather than just sunfire.

But yeah, nautilus can access both and his base damage is obnoxious. Power needs to be shifted to scaling if he wants damage. The extra mana from IBG allows him to spam his e even more. Him and malphite are the only real actual tank offenders. This is also due to the AD heavy metashift. So the meta kinda made it a necessity to exploit these two armor items very early.

No, it is not just assassin on whom these items are too strong. In fact, these items are too strong on tanks in general.

Non-assassins: Poppy Maokai Malphite Nautilus Sion

Trundle also uses IBG, just with Titanic instead of Sunfire.

Poppy was nerfed, Maokai is in a good spot in my opinion. Nautilus has good base damage and Maokai's kit is just amazing in this AD vs Tank meta we're currently in. Sion is good but not op.
