upvote if you hate yasuo the champ

edit:

i don't care if yasuo is op or not. i hate lots of things regardless of if they're trash tier or not. that's not the point of this thread. im not talking about yasuo's balance state. i don't care about it. but for some reason, even if he was trash tier, i think i would still see his weeb bait ass in every fucking game he can worm his way into.

what this thread is about is how every game yasuo is picked he sucks the fun out of every situation. thats why i only mentioned fun in the post. because thats what i was talking about, fun.

end edit:

the other thread said they only hate mains

i dont care about the mains

i hate the champion and now that devourer is long gone i can adamantly say that the least fun i have when playing league of legends is when yasuo is being played on any team

and heres why:

there's nothing fun about having an ally consistently 1v5 until you win

there's nothing fun about having an enemy consistently 1v5 until you win

there's nothing fun about having an enemy consistently 1v5 until you lose

there's nothing fun about having an ally consistently 1v5 until you lose

there's nothing fun about having an enemy dashing 6+ times per minion wave

there's nothing fun about having half of the entire champion pool completely negated by that ridiculously large hitbox windwall

there's nothing fun about 2 items being 100% crit

there's nothing fun about poke being ineffective on a champion thats supposed to be squishy

there's nothing fun about this champion whatsoever.

SquishyYasuo ? LMAO

item 3046 Damage Reduction item 3022 Health with a permaslow item 3031 Fine. Ya got me. Still it's so gold efficient on the bastard. item 3072 Big shield item 3053 Even BIGGER shield item 3026 The average Yasuo dies 7.5 times a game. Praise be to this item.

Let's gut bloodthirster shield/lifesteal and find a way to make him build crit.

Yasuo is notorious for almost always having one of the highest CS in the game.

Yasuo is notorious for almost always having one of the highest CS in the game.

In large part because of his dash. Q once, then just dash through every minion until they're gone, go farm a camp, repeat. And his super high mobility makes it easy for him to farm everything in sight.

why the hell whould yasou eveen build these itens?-->item 3053 item 3022 his tank build was already nerfed genius

maikokk3 votes

there is no way to nerf a tank yasuo effectively. his base damage has always been shit since the first E nerf. the problem is fervor and being able to get in 3 "autos" in 1/4 second with AA+ q +aa combo and a tiny bit of attack speed.

ye i bet there are totally yasuos 1v5ing in your silver 2 games

resumed34 votes

ye and i bet youre not biased with 213 yasuo games

Ruin Lance23 votes

yes i am biased. but i also know much more about the champion than you ever will and ACTUALLY successfully 1v5ing is something that will rarely ever happen. constantly trying and failing to 1v5 is an overused stereotype and happens a lot less than people actually think.

also, this post works with every champion. especially your broken fotm soraka pick :^]

there is nothing fun about a silence field that invalidates any melee champion trying to dive the backline

there is nothing fun about the enemy adc being constantly healed for absurd amounts at a time

there is nothing fun about getting chunked by an enormous slowing projectile that also heals the enemy

there is nothing fun about minding your own lane and almost killing your enemy only to have them get healed back from 100 hp to 900 hp because of something you can't control

there is nothing fun about a soraka running away at 600 movement speed because one of her teammates are low hp

Keti1 votes

At least soraka is hot. Yasuo is a big smelly weeb.

I don't think Yasuo qualifies as a weeb because he's actually, you know, from Ionia. I don't think we call people that are actually Japanese weaboos, because the defining trait is that they're someone from another culture, but they try to act as if they aren't.

My brother watches a lot of anime himself, he can confirm that League is in fact pretty damn influenced by anime styles. You have dances based on anime, character designs with strong anime ties, skins with strong anime ties...

Besides, anime isn't degenerate. Degenerate anime is degenerate, just like degenerate anything else is degenerate, but they don't make up the whole of their art form/medium.

It's not even a matter of good or bad players in most cases.

Yeah, when you know yasuo is being picked it's very easy to play against him. Though his general versatility, dps, and inherent advantages over significant portions of the champion pool, is quite disgusting. Which is probably why so many people hate him, because there are far more normal games played, than ranked games.

He has about a ~50% win rate, like a lot of champions, but that don't mistake that for fair or balanced gameplay.

If he had "inherent advantages over significant portions of the champion pool" he wouldn't have a 50% win rate

Not only that, but people keep moaning about his infinitely scaling skill cap and how he can outplay literally any other champion with nothing they can do about it, yet he wasn't picked in worlds.

Not once.

Best players in the world are picking champions to win the championship, you'd think they'd have a look at the "extremely safe burst assassin that wins every lane and hits lategame with 2 items"

deadlychuck2 votes

He can block nearly 50% of the games' damage (wind wall). Then avoid another significant portion of it for the majority of the game (short CD dash vs skillshots).

However, between a champion who wins 100% of the time 50% of the time (losing the other 50%) and a champion who wins 50% of the time 100% of the time, who is more balanced?

That is quite literally the least sensical thing I've ever read on this forum, thank you

deadlychuck1 votes

lol i'm sorry you don't understand, but the question actually makes perfect sense. Let's put it this way. Say...

Zed wins against syndra, ziggs, and xerath 100% of the time, but syndra, ziggs, and xerath have a sum 50% play rate.

vs

Zed wins against all champions 50% of the time.

Which do you think is more balanced?

Except that theory doesn't work, because Yasuo's highest win rate of any matchup is 58%, and thats against Ryze

And anyway, you still haven't answered my only question. Why don't the most mechanically skilled players in the world pick the champion that scales the best with mechanics?

deadlychuck1 votes

Fine, all answer your question, again but more explicitly, if you don't avoid mine by citing real win rates, which have nothing to do with what i'm asking.

The reason the most mechanically skilled players in the world don't pick the champion, despite having the best scaling with mechanical prowess, is because he is also the most vulnerable to, what i'll call, pick prediction disadvantage. As in, knowing that they are going to pick yasuo, or already picked him, hurts him more than other champions.

So not a single time could they last pick him into a counter matchup. Not ONCE. Are you fucking with me dude? Syndra had a 94% pick rate, I'm pretty sure they could've picked Yasuo into that at least 1 time.

He doesn't. What the fuck is your point? Your theory is irrelevant when we have actual statistical analysis to actually balance the game around. Instead of "How I feel."

And frankly I don't care how you feel, because you're silver.

deadlychuck1 votes

And frankly i don't care that you don't take my analysis seriously, simply because of a rank attached to my profile. SMH

I've got like 60 games played this season, all of which were in off roles, with friends who are significantly worse than myself? In no way to i take ranked seriously, in no way do i care that I've played less than 5% of all of my games played in ranked.

The point should be very obvious though.

One wins 50/100 games picked. Where the other wins 50/100 games.

Borigrad3 votes

{quoted} One wins 50/100 games picked. Where the other wins 50/100 games.

Considering this makes no sense and has no basis in reality or solid analytical thinking, no one cares about your hypotheticals. Since you know, this game doesn't have hard counters and nothing wins 100% of the time.

You losing 100% of the time cause you lack the mechanical skill to compete with your fellow player, doesn't mean the champion wins 100% of the time. A noticeable trend I see in these Yasuo threads, tends to be 1. Player Error, 2. Low elo players, 3. Fundamental misunderstanding of Item builds and gameplay mechanics and 4. A lack of understanding on how to properly play the lane phase.
