Has Anyone Else Noticed Less ARAM Leavers?

This may be me talking with anecdotal evidence of a limited sample size, but ever since the newest Bilgewater event in ARAM went live, I have managed to play 8 straight games of ARAM without a single remake due to someone leaving during champion "select".

Frankly, before this, I usually got 8 or so remakes before getting a single game in. So if this change is true for people beyond me, I'm kind of curious to the reason.

I'd like to think it might be because of the Ban System that got added. It cuts down on Champions you don't want to fight AND don't want to play, so people may be getting less skittish when they can make sure they're not getting stuck on Udyr when they have no rerolls left.

I'm curious to hear if this experience is universal or if I've just cursed myself to getting 20 games dodged in a row the next time I get to play. [cass-cry]

It's most likely due to the ban phase being added. I've noticed a very very healthy aram community emerge since the patch. On the boards though, the few aram only accounts have been backlashing.

I did notice before the patch a lot of people who dodge when they did get bad champions, Could it be that the aram only accounts arent dodging because they arent queueing up at all?

This would leave everyone else who is okay with randomly getting kled in aram.

I've never experienced so many people leaving. Maybe I am lucky.

And imo it is bc of the missions... with them more people play ARAM and want to do the missions so they won't dodge.

I'm leaving 5 times more than usual in champion select because for some reason I keep getting champions I severly don't like even when my most liked ones aren't banned.

I have noticed less chat in ARAM games :( People come on this is a fun game mode where we can chat and have fun stop being so serious :(

I see lots of dodgers still. Just had a game this morning where it went through 3 rounds of it before we got a game launched.....Overall I like that Riot gave attention to ARAM for once, but I am seeing the same lame lack of ability to properly balance anything and so banning is thrown in as a useless bandaid.

I have seen a lot of dodgers too, and everytime we lose 30 additionnal seconds because of Bans, so overall i'm not sure how to feel.

Literally went into an Aram yesterday to do the mission, had an afk, gg.

Edit: Nvm you meant Champ Select Leavers, but idk if the bans affected anything because you don't see what the enemies got anyway before you are ingame. Never had much dodgers anyway tho.

I have not seen less ARAM leavers.

seen pretty weak towers.

seen bans with a game mode all in the title. Kinda sad.

And worse a terrible tank meta
