Darius literally does everything better. Any time you do anything its punished severely. Ult'd Darius(50% hp) vs 100% hp, with an empowered stun engage, he beats me to 40% near instantly and dunks me, same CS, same items.

I'm actually laughing about that post where Riot said his ban% should diminish because he isn't as strong anymore. It's literally a total joke of a champion, zero counter play, zero skill to win as.

What the fuck where you guys thinking turning a lane bully into something even tankier and stronger?

as renekton you you EASILY avoid his q blade and thus winning the lane, you probably just fucked up and now you are looking to put the blame on Darius instead.

Darius Garen Fiora and vayne are broken as fuck and should be permanently banned. I feel your pain dude. I just played a game as rumble vs darius. I just kept poking him and poking him with my e which does like no damage. Then he walked up to me pulled me and basically healed back all the damage i did and left me with 25% health... Wtf. Then he got his ult and fuck it. He could stand in my ult and still kill me.

Darius and Renekton are completely different champions, how do you mean Darius does everything better than Renekton does?

Renekton can duel squishy top lane champs Ekko Fiora Gangplank Jax Riven Tryndamere Yasuo very well since he can actually catch them with his dash, his Q is instant and his W does amazing damage when he has rage.

Meanwhile Darius since his rework nerfs has a VERY time dueling good early duelists Fiora Fizz Jax LeeSin Pantheon Olaf Tryndamere XinZhao Udyr if he doesn't use his Q correctly. And even then many of these champions can actually bait it perfectly and trade with him while he is still casting it and cant retaliate. Then once he's used the handle of his Q on them for mediocre damage, he only has his heavily nerfed attack speed and his W for an auto attack reset. Any champ with a dash ability can then just walk away from him which forces him to use his pull which they then dash away from him.

Nevermind what Darius can do against ranged match ups, which unless the opponent messes up heavily, is pretty much nothing. At least Renekton has his dash to threaten them, and his Q can sustain from minions, right? Darius needs to actually needs to hit his opponent for that.

That aside, here's this - http://champion.gg/matchup/Renekton/Darius/Top Statistically looks like Darius is Renekton's biggest lane counter at the moment, sucks for those who like picking Renekton blind Blue Side since Darius is flavor of the month.

Renekton is actually a better pick overall, if only marginally. This may be because Renekton actually does much better than Darius does against other popular picks like Riven Fiora Gankplank Gnar Lulu and a few others.

Sure, if you want to do 6% hp damage to him every 15 seconds while he auto attacks you through minions etc.

There is just no win if you want to get cs. His abilities have ridiculous range. On top of it all, I can't even remember how many of his Qs I straight up dodged and he hit nothing. His mana costs seem irrelevant.

Renekton is harder to kite with a double dash. I've beat the shit out of a fair share of vayne tops with the croc, but I have difficulty doing it with dar-dar.

Yeah Ren is really ouclassed now. Everyone has true damage or % damage based off health. Ren still has a shitty late game and simply should not be played over the other top laners (dar, garen, fiora). Ren's kit is very underwhelming especially his ult; area magic damage (lol?) and a health boost that really doesn't mean anything late game. His Q damage is really bad, the heal is incredibly poor, his skill cap is non-existent and yeah.

But whatevers. I mean he's pathetic vs nearly any other top laner right now. Riven has been shitting on him forever. Now everyone gets to join the fun.

But whatever I stopped playing him for a while now lol.

yeah Darius pretty much shreds Renekton's skin and makes a basketball out of him in lane. But Renekton is still more mobile and naturally tankier. Just don't pick him into Darius or you'll get f'd up.
