Can Sona get a little love?

She's not trash right now but neither is she particularly good, there is literally no reason to pick her over Thresh Alistar Leona Morgana Janna Annie Bard who all perform the support role better.

Her winrate is decent but her popularity is low so it's a similar situation to Heimer where only her dedicated mains play her.

Some ideas that will help but won't make her oppressive.

  • Revert her MS nerf (325 -> 330)
  • Revert healing is increased by 0.5% for every 1% of the target's missing health back to The healing is increased by 1% for every 1% of the target's missing health. Why am I healing 30HP for 80 mana?
  • Minor CD reduction on ult, it's thin, has a cast time and is easily flashable. Why does Leona get a 90 second ult CD at rank 1 but Sona has a second 100 CD for rank 3? 130/110/90 would be huge without making her that much stronger.

No one should be 325. That's just sad.

My biggest problem with Sona's W is the shield. It's practically trash. It lasts a second and a half, and it's not strong in the slightest. It has a 10 second cooldown, I think you could at least make the shield last a full 2 seconds. That's not even a buff, that's just being god damn considerate.

Also, I have to agree with leona's ult. It's way stronger too. It has the same base damage but scales with 80% of her total ap. I mean, yeah sure, leona doesnt generally go ap, you might say, but still. That's a smaller CD, higher ratio, and it's just as good as sona's ult.

52.5% for plat+ isn't just "decent", and her win rate stayed around ~53% when her pick rate was over 40% when DJ Sona was released, so no, her win rate isn't high because of her "low" pick rate. She is even winning more than half her games against all the champions you listed other than Janna.
