Is the item good? It's a counter to attack speed and ad and I think it even works well against ad assassins who want to weave autos into their combos. I've heard that nobody builds this item because it's bad, but it seems ok to me. So what's the consensus on this thing.

On that note, I think we really need a tank item that builds out of

ModKnightsKemplar1 votesMaybe. It really does depend on who, not just "AD or AP." But if I'm looking at a late game, sixth item and they have more than 2 champs that rely heavily on attack speed, probably yes.

heroikc1 votesDepends on who you're using; Frozen Heart is best on tanks who like 20% cdr and lost of mana and armor, and a few fighters who wish to duel. I know Malph, Nasus, and Ornn are prime candidates for it as the situation demands.

The problem with frozen heart is that it doesn't give HP which helps your armour scale a lot better, which means while fighting that tryndamere might be a little easier that zed is still probably going to blow you up because you still have the same amount of hp so ignite is still effective against you

NBi1 votesIt's a really good 2nd/3rd item for amumu cause he uses all the stats very well. If they have a lot of AD I usually get it instead of abyssal mask 2nd.
