I heard something about riot working together with blizzard to better their player behavior policies

This was maybe one or two months ago. Does anyone know if it's actually happening or if it was just a fake rumor? I've made my critiques on the IFS before and I can't wait to see what they come up with if they're actually working on it. I gotta say it was really nice to hear that riot was working on their player behavior policies, since it shows that they realize it can be better. And that's an imperative first step to a healthy online gaming environment. It'd be nice if someone could confirm/deny the rumor.

“Any public changes”

If you haven’t noticed there have been an obscene amount of bans lately and I’ve been going up and down the boards looking for someone who actually deserved a permaban, and the only person that deserved a ban at all should’ve gotten a chat ban. Riot and the toddlers that work for them and play their game have decided that constructive criticism is hate speech and a bannable offense. Hilarious.

Yup, that's the fair play alliance. It's very new and was announced only a few weeks ago.

So this explains why I am seeing a ton of permabans going out to people on the boards for things that never used to even pull a slap on the wrist. I love it. Now you'll be able to say "dude if you don't chill out I'm going to report you" and actually see the person respond instead of troll and flame harder.

nice idea, but a bit pointless. more and more posts appear where ppl complain about the broken IFS. so yea

Two companies with the most retarted player behavior policies working together to come up with something even more moronic. Oh. what a time to be alive.

Honestly, while there's plenty of room for improvement, I think Riot easily leads the industry in terms of managing player behavior on a large scale.
