When are we changing Karma?

Karma hasn't had a good time since preseason started. I'm surprised no one's brought her up yet. Her nerfs from before left her way in the gutter.

The OP didn't ask for a buff though? He's asking when she'll receive the changes (rework/update) that Meddler said she would be getting at some point this year.

she's OKAY. she can be played and there isn't anything wrong with her that would warrant a buff.

t. diamond 4 support main rn

the only reason why she isn't played or is as strong is because there are better support options like alistar/leona/shen/janna

She has like a 45% win rate on Lolalytics filtered for Diamond...

doesn't mean she needs a buff. and as i said again there are better choices.

With that logic we just shouldn't buff a single champ anymore...

so because azir has a low winrate you should automatically buff him? NO.

stop giving "winrate" an excuse for a buff.

Is Karma in the LCS?

Also, Karma has a lower win rate than Azir, on top of having no pro play presence. Try again.

you're comparing pro play to solo q. THEY AREN'T THE SAME GAME

and both karma and azir are both different roles.

again there is nothing that warrants a buff just because her winrate is low. there are other better support champions like janna/shen/alistar that are better than her

I'm not. Some champs are stronger in solo queue. Some in pro play. Azir is OBVIOUSLY the latter. Karma is just always shit.

and both karma and azir are both different roles.

You let me know when you want to lane with a 45% win rate support backing you up.

you literally just asked if karma is in the lcs, and karma has been played in pro play so try again.

you can literally play karma in lower elo and get free wins.

Statistics say otherwise by a long shot.

And as far as I've seen, I haven't even seen a non-tank support in pro games so far at any time I tune in.

She's far from okay, her kit is a mess.

not this again.

So Karma should remain shit for how long?

Do you remember old Urgot and Yorick?

Just cause it happens to one champ doesn't mean that it's a good idea to do that more often to other champs.

It's Riot's policy. If they find a champion cannot be competitive without being completely dominant and oppressive they nerf them into the ground and let them sit there until a rework happens. Luckily reworks are actually happening now, so Karma won't sit there for years and years.

Karma can pretty much remove a great many melee champions from the game, which is not healthy in the slightest.

I want her Sun Goddess skin to get some more love as well haha Like, the splash art is TOO beautiful not to give the skin some slight particles or something

It's the meta. Close range/positioning reliant supports (see also Bard and Sona) that aren't inherently tanks are suffering in this meta. They rely on surviving into longer fights to weave in their short cooldown abilities multiple times. Now they just die so quickly they don't have a chance to do their thing.

We need a nerf to this stupid burst coming from nearly every champion.

You guys say "It's the meta" every single damn time and it honestly just turns me off of giving the rest of your response even the slightest acknowledgement or morsel of respect beyond that point. It's such a bullshit excuse, and it's crazy how people keep tossing it out.

Game was (or could be) relatively as bursty a few months ago, and Sona was just abusing Ardent to be good in solo queue, anyway, despite the high damage. Obviously it was Riot's ridiculous nerf spree that did Sona in, not the amount of damage in the lanes (especially since Janna's back to being top spot support). Also, Bard is perfectly fine right now, even in higher elos. Like, sheesh, learn a new move, Pikachu.

I'm not making excuses. I think the meta is the worst I've ever seen and want to see damage go down by ~30% across the board before any major champ specific changes come into play. (After that, buff away if needed)

As for Bard I main him and hate how you have to play him right now. He's a one trick electrocute burst bot that takes away so much depth from his kit having to play scared like you're Brand or Zyra. Ranged utility bruiser is by far my favorite role and hate how they've all-but destroyed the role with the current burst coming from nearly every champ in the game.

If damage goes down, Karma becomes worse. Bullying lanes and then falling back to shielding allies is what she currently does. When you reduce damage, you buff late game scaling styles and nerf aggressive early game styles. Karma herself is an early game champ, so nerfing early damage nerfs Karma. It isn't the meta. Karma. Just. Sucks.

Bard was the exact same thing all of last year. His best keystone was TLD. Electrocute IS that keystone, just with different numbers. Also, wtf is a "ranged utility bruiser support"?

I just think she needs a mini rework. Right now she lacks utility, and for an enchanter that's pretty bad. Compare Karma to someone like Orianna. Both are utility mages with decent damage and kiting potential, but Orianna can offer more utility to her team with her Reliable hard CC, AOE speed buffs, and Armor/Mr buffs. When a utility champion has less utility than a typical mage, some changes need to be made rather than slight tweeks.

That being said, Karma's not terrible she's under performing in the support role once again, and people are playing her less bot lane, but mid lane she's still doing the ideal average.
