Is it possible to deal increased damage if they have negative armor?

If my penetration completely bypass their armor and then some do I deal increased damage based on the amount I'm negating or does it stop at 0 armor?

Not anymore. Flat penetration stops at 0. Flat reduction does not. However, there isn't enough flat reduction to drop below 0 anymore. There are no flat armour reduction items and only one flat MR reduction item.

item 3001 All champs start with 30 MR and Abyssal does max 25 MR reduction.

Edit: I stand corrected. It's still possible.

and then a corki comes along with wit's end and E for another 45mr shred, reaching a total of 70..... Don't ignore item 3091 , you savage And don't forget about champion abillities. It is still possible to get enough mr or armour shred to reach negative values if you have the right champs.

Runes don't give shred, only penetration, and pen can't reduce armor/mr below 0, while shred can.

By that point you're dealing true damage (it stops at 0)

It stops at 0 ,and then you do true dmg to them.

You deal more damage to targets with negative armour/mr, but you can only achive that with shred. **Penetration **effects stop at 0.
